A deal is said to be close to being done with Haye being on the verge of signing the talented Joyce with his company. This would be a great addition to Haye’s promotional company. Joyce is one of those rare heavyweights that can hit the ground running and do well straightaway rather than needing many years to develop.

The big 6’6” Joyce was asked on Thursday if it’s true what Tyson Fury said on his Twitter about hearing that he’s been battering Joshua during their sparring sessions.

Fury said that Joshua is getting beaten up by 2016 Olympic British silver medalist Joe Joyce in sparring for his April 29 fight against Wladimir Klitschko. Joshua seemed to get upset at Fury’s comments, because he fired back with both barrels, telling him to pick a date for he resumes his stalled backing career.
