Sanchez: Chavez Jr’s promoter likely won’t let him fight Golovkin
By Dan Ambrose: Abel Sanchez, the trainer for WBA World middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin (24-0, 21 KO’s), says he’s hoping that Golovkin can fight the winner of the September 15th fight between Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. and Sergio Martinez next later in the year. However, Sanchez doesn’t believe that Chavez Jr’s promoter Bob Arum will allow him to face the dangerous Golovkin.
