Marquez, 35, was defeated by Pacquiao by a 12-round split decision in March, and Juan would like nothing better than to get another shot against Pacquiao if possible.

By Manuel Perez: It looks as if World Boxing Council super middleweight champion Carl Froch (24-0, 19 KOs) has finally got a location for his April 25th title defense against former middleweight champion Jermain Taylor. The bout will be taking place at the Foxwoods resort in Connecticut rather than England.
Froch, 31, is coming off a grueling 12-round decision over Jean Pascal in December in an exciting fight that pretty much placed Froch on the boxing map, at least as far as fans in the U.S. are concerned.

John, 29, is making a rare appearance out of his home country of Indonesia, is taking a big risk in traveling to Texas to take on Juarez, who comes from Texas and will have a huge crowd advantage going for him.

The final judges’ scores 116-110, 117-111 and 116-112, appeared to have no relevance to the actual fight that took place on that night. In fact, not only were they off, but off by a mile.

By Jason Kim: Undefeated WBA featherweight champion Chris John (42-0-1, 22 KOs) defeated his Japanese challenger Hiroyuki Enoki (27-1, 19 KOs) by a 12-round unanimous decision on Saturday night, at the Korakuen Hall, in Tokyo, Japan. For John, 29, it was his 10th successful title defense of his WBA belt which he won in September 2003 with a win over Oscar Leon. John, from Indonesia, dominated the entire fight with his speed, movement and superior boxing skills over his Japanese opponent. The final judges’ scores were 118-110, 118-110 and 117-111, all for John.
