Manny Pacquiao vs. Terence Crawford

Unfortunately it looks as though this fight will not be taking place but dare to dream. If this match up were to take place it would be the proverbial “passing of the welterweight torch” type of fight with Manny Pacquiao on his way out and Crawford on his way up.

2016 Matchup Wishlist: Jr.Welterweight

Terence Crawford vs. Viktor Postol

Postol is coming off a 10th round KO win over Lucas Matthysse as well as being named Freddie Roach’s new “favorite fighter.” Postol was flying under the radar as an undefeated, intelligent and lanky Jr. Welterweight until knocking out Matthysse. This was largely due to his lack of big-name opponents and American exposure. Adding to Postol’s unknown to most fans was his lack of KO victories, this all changed when (surprise, surprise) Roach got his hands on him. Crawford, on the other hand, is becoming well known to casual fans and is already the favorite of most hard-core boxing fans.

Pacquiao vs. Bradley analysis, and more!

Manny PacquiaoBy Ross Walker: In what has been declared as Manny Pacquiao’s final fight of his illustrious career, the modern-day boxing legend is said to face one of three prospective opponents. The indications are that one of Terence Crawford, Timothy Bradley or Amir Khan will receive the honor of facing Pac-Man.

The decision was supposed to be announced on two separate occasions but has thus far remained un-announced. The apparent reason for the delay is rumored to be due to a lack of agreement between the Pacquiao camp and promoter Bob Arum. One would have to assume that Manny is consulting with members of his vast entourage which includes his family, advisor (Michael Koncz), promoter Bob Arum and of course his trainer, Freddie Roach.
