Amanda Serrano vs. Lucrecia Manzur Live Results and Fight Updates

By Boxing News 24 Desk - 08/21/2026 - Comments

A majority decision gave Amanda Serrano the 50th victory of her career after Lucrecia Anabella Manzur forced the featherweight champion through 12 competitive rounds. Serrano retained her WBA, WBO and Ring titles with scores of 116-112, 116-112 and 114-114. The two widest cards did not accurately represent how much resistance Manzur provided.

At lightweight, Jahmal Harvey needed only two rounds to dispatch Hammet Kowany Keb del Valle. A combination hurt the Mexican before a powerful right cross dropped him heavily and ended the contest. The 2024 U.S. Olympian has won four professional fights, three inside the distance.

Dropped by Mayelli Flores Rosquero in round two, Melissa Mortensen recovered to capture the vacant WBA super bantamweight title through a split decision. Flores continued advancing after the knockdown, but Mortensen raised her output and caught her with the cleaner counters.

All three judges scored the fight 95-94. Two favored Mortensen, giving the Danish fighter her tenth win and first major title, while the remaining card went to Flores.

The fifth round transformed Avious Griffin’s welterweight bout with Jackson Marinez from a cautious contest into a one-sided beating. Griffin closed the distance and registered the first knockdown with two left hooks followed by a right hand. An overhand right and a left hook to the body put Marinez down again later in the round, leading his corner to stop the fight before the sixth began.

Cruiserweight Keno Marley controlled the distance against Braylan Brooks before ending matters with a right hand at 1:46 of round three. Marley used his height and footwork during the opening two rounds, then increased the pressure once Brooks began struggling with the pace.

Another third-round finish followed in the heavyweight division. Nelvie Tiafack overwhelmed Salvador Zavala Molina and handed him his first defeat, although the referee intervened before Molina looked completely unable to continue. Tiafack moved to five professional wins with four stoppages.

An upset arrived at minimumweight when Brook Sibrian defeated Guadalupe Medina by unanimous decision. Repeated attacks to the body allowed Sibrian to force the pace and prevent Medina from controlling the exchanges.

Only 81 seconds were required for Albina Moldazhanova to produce the fastest ending of the event. The southpaw knocked out Sheila Fabiana Liesegang during the opening round of their light welterweight contest, leaving her with five stoppages from five professional appearances.

Four decisions completed the remaining undercard. Cinderella Linnear edged Jully De Oliveira by split decision, with Iyana Verduzco receiving the same verdict against Miguelina Hernandez. At minimumweight, Jocelyn Camarillo outpointed Ashley Felix, while lightweight Paolo Barredo controlled Jorge Garcia across six rounds to secure a unanimous win.
