Gervonta Davis heads list that includes Stevenson, Garcia and Benn
Bill Haney says Devin Haney is not waiting on one opponent. Gervonta Davis and Shakur Stevenson are already on the list.
“It’s about 10 on there,” Bill Haney said during an interview with Fight Hub TV. “Tank is at the top. Shakur, Keyshawn, Conor Benn, Ryan Garcia, it’s a lot of names.”
That line kills the idea that Devin is waiting around. His team has already circled the names they rate, and those targets show how he’s lining himself up across weight classes, keeping options live where the belts and the money sit.
Gervonta Davis being mentioned first reflects his position in the sport. He remains one of boxing’s biggest draws, and his power forces opponents to remain alert every second. Even disciplined fighters must respect his ability to change a fight with one punch. Bill placing him at the top of the list shows the fight is not being avoided.
Shakur Stevenson wins fights by owning range control and starting with the jab, keeping opponents at the end of it while he lines up his next shot. He keeps the fight at distance and prevents opponents from setting their feet. Teofimo Lopez struggled with that because he couldn’t close space cleanly or land often enough to take control of rounds.
Devin operates from the same range but with physical advantages. His reach is longer, and his jab carries more authority. He does not need to chase Stevenson. He can hold position and force Stevenson to work around him. That removes Stevenson’s preferred way of controlling fights.
Ryan Garcia’s name remains part of the discussion as well. Their last fight continues to follow Devin, and including Garcia confirms his team has not dismissed the idea of facing him again. Fighters do not bring up rematches they intend to avoid.
Keyshawn Davis and Conor Benn appearing on the list show that Devin’s team is keeping multiple paths open. Both fighters bring name value and competitive relevance, and mentioning them keeps future options available depending on how Devin’s career develops.
Bill’s words reflected certainty rather than promotion. He didn’t speak in vague terms or defer responsibility to promoters. He spoke as someone who already knows where his fighter belongs and who he is prepared to face.
By identifying Davis, Stevenson, Garcia, and others directly, Bill Haney made clear that Devin Haney is not waiting for direction. He already knows who he wants.
