Tim Bradley Reveals Terence Crawford’s Secret ‘Kill Shot’ Uppercut to Finish Canelo Alvarez

Tim Bradley revealed the secret punch that he believes Terence Crawford will utilize tonight to knock out Canelo Alvarez in their mega-event at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

The Uppercut Secret Revealed

The boxing Hall of Famer-turned-analyst Bradley has labeled the secret Crawford punch “The kill shot,” and he says it’s going to be an “uppercut” that he’ll land on Canelo (63-2-2, 39 KOs) to finish him for the night in front of a large pro-Canelo crowd. If Bradley is right, he’ll look like a genius afterward, and he can brag to fans how he predicted the outcome.

“He’s got to prepare for everything with Crawford. Terence Crawford is no easy puzzle. Canelo has that punching power, and all it takes is one,” said boxing expert Tim Bradley to Fighthype, analyzing tonight’s Canelo-Crawford blockbuster fight.

The only thing that Crawford does that will give Canelo real problems is his movement, but that likely won’t be there tonight for this fight for two reasons:

Crawford’s Big Money Obligation

  1. Weight: With all the weight that Bud has put on in the last 13 months that he’s been put out of the ring, his mobility could be negatively affected. At the weigh-in last Friday, Crawford looked slow when walking to the scales. He resembled a beefed-up super middleweight.
  2. Tom and Jerry factor: Turki Alalshikh says he don’t want those types of negative fights at his events. Moreover, he said he won’t “support” them. What he means is he won’t pay for fighters to be on his card if they’re going to run around the ring, boring the crowd, resulting in booing and bad press later.
  3. Obligation: Crawford is being paid a massive sum by Turki for this fight, millions that will set him up for life, allowing him to live anywhere in the U.S. in grand style. Given the treasure chamber’s worth of money he’s being paid, Crawford’s not going to put on a boring performance to upset Turki. That means Crawford will likely engage tonight and go out on his shield if need be.

“Crawford can land that kill shot, too, I’m telling you. Let’s put it this way: uppercut. That’s the punch you can look out for. Uppercut,” said Bradley, revealing the secret punch that Crawford must land tonight to knock out Canelo.

Canelo’s Counterpunching Threat

That “kill shot” that Bradley talks about, Crawford landing, will put him in close proximity to getting nailed by Canelo’s powerful counters and body shots. The uppercuts that Crawford hit his last opponent, Israil Madrimov, with a year ago in August 2024, were at close range.

Terence got away with it against him because he lacked an inside game to hit Crawford back with anything meaningful. But if Crawford tries that tactic against Canelo, we could see a short fight tonight. That would please Alvarez’s fans.

“This is a big, huge turnout. This is wonderful. This is great for boxing,” said Bradley about the large crowd expected to attend the Canelo-Crawford event at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

The event tonight could sell out, which would mean approximately 71,835 spectators would attend the Canelo vs. Crawford fight.

This is the fight that is driving the interest for the event, as the undercard has been loaded by promoter Dana White and Turki Alalshikh with mostly prospects and only three notable high-level fighters, Christian Mbilli, Lester Martinez, and Serhii Bohachuk.
