Undisputed Super Middleweight champion Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez (63-3-2 (39) lost his belts to Terence ‘Bud’ Crawford (42-0 (31) by a 12-round unanimous decision on Saturday night at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
The Scores were 116-112, 115-113, and 115-113.
In the first round, starting 90 minutes after the advertised time, Canelo followed Crawford around the ring, landing left hooks to the body while Crawford occasionally landed body shots. In the second round, with a minute remaining, Canelo landed a left hook to the chin, while the southpaw Crawford countered with a lead left to the chin—another round for Canelo.
In the third round, Canelo continued cutting off the ring on Crawford, who moved in the first two minutes before, in the final minute, standing in front of Canelo, taking the round. In the fourth round’s final minute, Canelo landed a right on the chin as Crawford tried slipping punches. Canelo round.
In the fifth round, Crawford uses an effective jab while Canelo lands occasional lefts to the body. Canelo round. In the sixth round, Crawford worked the ring well, using his jab as Canelo followed him around. By the end of the round, Canelo’s right eye was swollen.
In the seventh round, Crawford uses his hand and foot speed to counter Canelo. In the eighth round, Crawford continued moving in a close round.
In the ninth round, Crawford was scoring well until the halfway point when a clash of heads caused a small cut on the right eyebrow of Crawford. In the tenth round, Crawford keeps one step ahead of Canelo.
In the eleventh round, another close one with Canelo taking it with several rights to the chin. In the twelfth and final round, Crawford won the round and may have won the fight or a draw.

Middleweight Serhii ‘El Flaco’ Bohachuk (26-3 (24) lost to Brandon ‘Cannon’ Adams (26-4 (16) by a 10-round unanimous decision in their rematch.
The scores were 98-92, 98-92, and 99-91. Mark Nelson was the referee.
WBC Interim super middleweight champion Christian ‘Solide’ Mbilli (29-0-1, 24 KOs) and Lester Martinez (19-0-1, 16 KOs) fought to a 10-round split draw.
In the first two rounds, both mixed it up well, with Mbilli outlanding Martinez. In the third round, Martinez won the round in a war. In the fourth and fifth rounds, Martinez took close rounds.
In the sixth round’s final minute, Martinez landed a hard right on the chin of Mbilli. Mbilli seemed to have a slight edge. In the seventh round, Martinez came back, outlanding Mbilli. In the eighth round, Mbilli pulled out of the round, finishing stronger. In the ninth round, it went back and forth with Martinez finishing stronger. In the tenth and final round, the final minute was non-stop punching from both.
The scores were 97-93 for Martinez, 96-94 for Mbilli, and 95-95. Allen Huggins was the referee.
Heavyweight Ivan Dychko (15-1 (14 KOs) was upset by a disputed decision to Jermaine Franklin, Jr. (24-2, 15 KOs).
In the first four rounds, Dychko had an edge. In the seventh round, Franklin got the better of the action. In the eighth and ninth rounds, it was close. In the tenth and final round, Dychko finished well as the exhausted Franklin barely got to the bell.
The scores were 98-96 for Dychko, 95-94, and 97-92 for Franklin. Harvey Dock was the referee.
Co-main event junior middleweight southpaw ‘King’ Callum Walsh (15-0 (11) defeated southpaw Fernando ‘El Feroz’ Vargas, Jr. (17-1 (15) by a 10-round unanimous decision.
In the first three rounds, Walsh had a slight edge, landing more punches on Vargas ‘ body. In the fourth round, Vargas had a better round. In the fifth round, Vargas was warned for low blows by referee Harvey Dock.
In the sixth round, Vargas had a good round, though Walsh ended stronger. In the seventh round, Vargas outjabs Walsh, who outpunches Vargas mainly to the body. In the eighth round, Vargas did well, but Walsh finished stronger, taking the round.
In the ninth round, Walsh continues outworking Vargas. In the tenth and final rounds, midway through, Walsh drew blood from the mouth of Vargas, taking the final round.
The scores were 99-91, 99-91, and 100-90.
Light heavyweight Steven Nelson (20-2 (16 KOs) was stopped by Raiko Santana (13-4 (7 KOs) at 2:38 of the first round of a scheduled 10 rounds.
In the first round in the final minute, Santana rocked Nelson with a right on the chin and followed with a flurry as referee Robert Hoyle prematurely stopped the fight.
Lightweight ‘Mighty’ Mohammed Alakel (6-0 (1 KO) defeated Travis Crawford (7-5 (2) by a 10-round unanimous decision.
In the first three rounds, Alakel controlled with his reach. In the fifth round, Alakel landed a left hook, drawing blood from the nose of Crawford. His hand speed is too much for Crawford.
In the eighth round, Alakel continued winning every round. In the ninth round’s final seconds, Crawford rocked Alakel with a right on the chin, taking the round. In the tenth and final round, Alakel went the distance for his first ten-rounder, winning the final round and the fight.

Middleweight Olympic Silver Medalist Marco ‘Green’ Verde (3-1 (1 KO) stopped ‘Slink Proper’ Akale (9-4 (4 KOs) at 1:11 of the fourth round of a scheduled eight rounds.
In the first round, Verde dropped Akale for an 8-count from referee Mark Nelson. In the fourth round, a flurry from Verde forced referee Nelson to call a halt.
Super Featherweight southpaw Reito Tsutsumi (3-0 (2 KOs) knocked out Javier Martinez (7-3 (4 KOs) at 2:18 of the first round of a scheduled six rounds.
In the first round, Tsutsumi landed several right uppercuts, ending it with a left hook on the chin, being counted out by Referee Allen Huggins.
Lightweight Sultan Almohamed (1-0) defeated Martin Caraballo (0-1-1) by a four-round points decision.
