The WBO flyweight champ Anthony Olascuaga didn’t waste time in Miami. He stalked, cornered, and beat down Juan Carlos Camacho-Rivera inside two rounds at the Fontainebleau Hotel and Casino, headlining DAZN’s pilot episode of its new “Underdog” series.
Camacho tried to move, tried to dance around the fire in the opening round. It lasted all of three minutes. In the second, Olascuaga cut the ring, pinned him, and unloaded a two-fisted assault that left Camacho frozen in the corner. Referee Harvey Dock stepped in at 2:36 of the round. Olascuaga moves to 10-1 (7 KOs). Camacho, exposed, drops to 19-2 (8 KOs).
Now the obvious question — unification. With Ricardo Sandoval holding the WBC and WBA straps, Olascuaga could be marching straight into a three-belt war in 2026.
Viloria Keeps Rolling, Hackett Redeems Himself
At lightweight, Justin Viloria (10-0, 7 KOs) looked like the future and Joshafat Ortiz (13-2, 6 KOs) looked like the past. Eight one-sided rounds, all three cards 80-72. Viloria barely broke a sweat and keeps his unbeaten tag intact.
Jalil Hackett (10-1, 8 KOs) needed to prove he wasn’t broken after his first loss and nine months out. He proved it by ripping through Elijah Vines (8-1, 7 KOs) in three savage rounds. Two knockdowns, relentless pressure, and a referee’s mercy stoppage at :33 of the third. Hackett’s back in business.
Heavyweights Put the Crowd to Sleep
Not every fight delivered. Jamar Talley (4-0, 3 KOs) and Anthony Holloway (9-9-3, 7 KOs) slogged through six rounds that nobody will remember. No urgency, no danger, just rounds filled. Judges scored it wide for Talley, 59-55 and 60-54 twice. He stays unbeaten, but fans deserved better.
The opener had more edge. Emiliano Alvarado (9-0, 5 KOs) and Juan Garcia (7-1, 2 KOs) traded control. Garcia started sharp, but Alvarado’s late push busted up his eyes and turned momentum. The judges gave it majority: 57-57, 58-56, 60-54. Alvarado stays perfect, Garcia takes his first loss.
DAZN’s “Underdog” Gets a Real Test Run
The Fontainebleau debut was a test launch. DAZN’s “Underdog” officially kicks off in January 2026, and this card showed the good and the bad. Olascuaga looked like a champion ready for unification. Viloria and Hackett showed why young blood matters. Talley-Holloway showed why fans tune out when heavyweights coast.
If DAZN’s serious about this “Underdog” series, they’ll need more nights like Olascuaga’s demolition and fewer sleepwalkers on the bill. The fans know the difference.
