Itauma is just 20 years old. His professional record is a perfect 12-0 with 10 wins coming inside the distance. Itauma is widely regarded as a future superstar in the heavyweight division, where many believe he will be a future heavyweight champion. Itauma is largely unproven, having only fought 25 rounds in his professional career to date. He is largely unproven and untested, especially with regards to his stamina, his heart, and his ability to take a good punch. But what Itauma has proven so far is that he has very fast hands, a tremendous ability to counter, and he has incredible knockout power in both hands.

Inb the other corner Whyte is 37 years old, and his professional record is 31-3 with 21 wins coming inside the distance. Whyte is on a three fight winning streak since losing his title shot against Tyson Fury back in April 2022. Amazingly, that fight took place before Itauma even made his professional debut. In his last three fights, Whyte won a 12 round majority decision against Jermaine Franklin, then last March he beat Christian Hammer, and in his most recent fight last December Whyte stopped Ebenezer Tetteh. Whyte has the clear edge in experience where he has been competing at or near the top level for the better part of the last 10 years.

So who will win the upcoming heavyweight showdown between Moses Itauma and Dillian Whyte?

This edition of Rummy’s Corner will attempt to answer that question while also providing a quick preview of the upcoming heavyweight contest. Please watch and enjoy the video for one man’s opinion. This is Rummy’s Corner (produced and narrated by Geoffrey Ciani).
