Tim Bradley’s Dream: Devin Haney to Knock Out Brian Norman Jr. with a “Sniper-like” Right Hand in Riyadh on November 22nd

Tim Bradley says he had a dream that Devin Haney knocked out WBO welterweight champion Brian Norman Jr. in their fight on November 22nd in Riyadh.

Bradley states that Haney (32-0, 15 KOs) caught Norman Jr. (28-0, 22 KOs) with a “Sniper-like” right hand and “knocked him out cold”, sending him down face-first on the canvas. He points out that he had other dreams of fighters scoring knockouts, and they came true.

Will Haney’s KO Power Return?

“I had a dream that Devin Haney knocked out Brian Norman Jr. with a right hand. A straight right hand knocked him out cold. He fell on his face in my dream,” said Tim Bradley on his channel, discussing his dream of a KO victory over the unbeaten WBO 147-lb champion Brian Norman Jr. on November 22nd.

It’s going to take more than a dream by Bradley for Haney to knock out Brian Norman Jr. With his lack of power and the shell-shocked, PTSD-esque way he looked in his last fight, he’s in no condition to be knocking anyone at this point. Devin looked all messed up mentally in his first fight back against Jose Ramirez from his loss to Ryan Garcia last year.

That performance showed that Haney is afraid of going through that experience again. He doesn’t want to get back on the frontlines to put himself in the line of fire against Norman Jr, because the probability of him catching one will be high in this fight. The 24-year-old Norman Jr. is a different animal from the 33-year-old Ramirez. He can punch on the move and will go after Devin nonstop, forcing him into a firefight.

The Face-First KO Prophecy

“It was a sniper-like right hand. You know how Haney likes to shoot that right hand,” said Bradley about his dream sequence. “Brian Norman was stepping on his front foot, getting ready to leap with his left hook. That right hand came right down the middle, and he fell flat on his face.”

Haney isn’t to step into a right hand against Norman Jr, especially after he gets hit the first time. He’ll be in survival mode, moving nonstop, hoping the judges will bless him with a controversial decision based on his jabbing. Luckily for Haney, the fight is being staged in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, because if it were in the U.S, he’d be booed out of the arena.

Bill Haney’s Haitian Roots

“I don’t know if that’s going to be real. I’m picking Brian Norman Jr. He’s going to get him late. Bill [Haney], you better not be doing none of that voodoo s*** on me. I know you got some Haitian roots or down south in New Orleans somewhere,” said Bradley.
