It’s nearly sealed. Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois are finalising their deal for a July 12 showdown at Wembley Stadium, and this time it’s for all the marbles — every last belt on the line.
Forget speculation — Ring Magazine says both teams are crossing t’s and dotting i’s. The only thing left? The suits signing off. That’s it.
Frank Warren tried to play it cagey on talkSPORT:
“Not at the moment, nothing done at all… I hope it comes true.”
Yeah, alright Frank — we’ve heard this song before. But the backroom noise says otherwise. Translation: It’s happening, but Warren’s playing it safe till pens hit paper.
🔒 Undisputed. Heavyweight. Wembley. July 12.
WBO Petition: Usyk vs. Dubois Before Parker?
The WBO’s got a petition sitting on their desk. They were supposed to order Usyk to face Joseph Parker — but there’s an exemption in the mix.
WBO Prez Gustavo Olivieri told Sky Sports:
“There is a petition… to consider Usyk-Dubois to consolidate the heavyweight championships.”
Translation: They know what the fans want. And it ain’t Parker shadowboxing for a vacant strap.
The IBF tried throwing their weight too — ordering Dubois to fight Derek Chisora by April 22. Yeah, missed that one didn’t they?
Recap: What Happened Last Time?
August 2023. Usyk stopped Dubois in nine.
But let’s not act like it was all one-way traffic.
Dubois dropped Usyk — sat him down with a body shot that had the entire sport arguing for weeks.
Was it low? Was it clean? Depends on which side you’re on. The ref called it low, gave Usyk time to recover, and the Ukrainian came back like a machine and ended it with a jab. A jab. That’s how it ended for Dubois.
But now? Dubois is holding the IBF belt, elevated after Usyk got stripped chasing the Fury rematch. And he defended it with style, knocking out Joshua last September and silencing doubters who thought he wasn’t built for the big nights.
Dubois is coming to prove the first loss was a fluke. Usyk wants to remind everyone who the real boss is. Four belts. One king.

Final Word
No more excuses. No more low blow debates. No more politics. If this gets locked in — and all signs say it will — then Dubois gets a chance to back up the hype. Usyk gets to shut everyone up.
