In the Main Event former unified champ and No. 5 WBO ranked southpaw Josh Taylor, 19-2 (13), #139.6, of Haddington, Scotland, UK, lost to southpaw Jack ‘El Gato’ Catterall, 29-1 (13), #139.8, of Chorley, Lancashire, UK, over 12 rounds.
In the first round it was limited to jabbing with Catterall landing more. In the second round with a minute remaining there was a clash of heads with neither cut. Five seconds into the third round again a clash of heads. Taylor outworked Catterall for the most part.

In the fourth round Catterall finished stronger of the two with overhand lefts between the southpaws edging the round. In the final seconds Catterall drove Taylor into the ropes and almost over them starting with a left to the chin.
In the sixth and seventh rounds Taylor kept the pressure in a battle of jabs and Catterall ending the round with a combination. In the eighth and ninth rounds a fight broke out with Catterall finishing the second half of the round with lead lefts to the chin of Taylor.
In the tenth round it was Taylor coming back though blood from his nose out landed Catterall the entire round. In the eleventh rounds final minute Catterall rocked Taylor almost dropping him as Taylor fell into him taking both to the canvas. In the twelfth and final round both warriors near exhaustion and faces marked up with Taylor’s left eye almost closed.
Referee Kevin Parker. Scores 117-111 twice and 116-113. Scores at 117-111 seemed much too wide.

WBA Intercontinental and IBF International Cruiser titles Cheavon ‘C4’ Clarke, 9-0 (6), #199.3, of Montego Bay, JAM, Gravesend, UK, knocked out Ellis Zorro, 17-2 (7), #198.6, of Kent, UK, at 2:59 of round eight of a scheduled 12 rounds, for the vacant British Cruiser title.
In the first four rounds Clarke forced the fight which had too many clinches for Referee Mark Bates to deal with while Clarke took all four rounds. Zorro lost by knockout in his last fight but Clarke hasn’t come close to hurting him. Zorro has shown little other than a jab.
In the seventh rounds final seconds for the first time in the fight they exchanged punches. In the eighth round with a minute remaining Referee Bates warned Zorro for holding. Starting with an overhand right to the head followed by two more punches to the head and down went Zorro for the count from Referee Bates.
WBA Continental Welter champ and WBA Ranked No. 11 southpaw ’The Real Deal’ Paddy Donovan, 14-0 (11), #145.4, of Limerick, IRE, stopped former British champ Lewis ‘Sandman’ Ritson, 23-4 (13), #146.8, of Forest Hall, UK, at 0:32 of the ninth round of a scheduled 10 rounds.
In the first two rounds Donovan used uppercuts to the body and head taking both rounds.
In the third round Ritson finally amounted some offense with his jab and lead rights to the chin of Donovan. In the fourth through the seventh rounds Donovan came back outworking Ritson. Ritson has forced the fight but is getting countered by Donovan and well behind
In the eighth round Donovan had Ritson red faced from flurry of punches pinned in a corner the entire round. In the ninth round Donovan continued where he left off before Referee Howard Foster finally called a halt.
Southpaw Gary ‘The Diva’ Cully, 18-1 (10), #134.1, of Naas, IRE, defeated Francesco Patera, 29-4 (11), #134.1, of Genk, Limburg, BELG, over ten rounds for vacant WBA Continental Lightweight title.

Middleweight George Liddard, 7-0 (4), #162.3, of Billericay, Essex, UK, knocked out southpaw Graham ‘G’Train’ McCormack, 9-4-1 (1), #162.3, of Limerick, IRE, at 1:28 of the first round of a scheduled 8 rounds.
In the first round Liddard knocked McCormack down twice with Referee Michael Alexander counting him out after the second knockdown.
Lightweight Giorgio Visioli, 3-0 (3), #134.1, of Guildford, Surrey, UK, knocked out Sergio Odabai, 6-4-1 (3), #136.5, of Vienna, Austria, at 1:47 of the fourth round of a scheduled 6 rounds.
In the fourth round Visioli landed a left hook to the body of Odabai who was counted out by Referee Howard Foster.
Super Welterweight Emmanuel ‘Leli’ Buttigieg, 4-0 (1), #157.6, of Newham, London, UK, defeated Anas Isarti, 4-3 (0), #156.8, of Brussels, BELG, Las Vegas, NV, over 6 rounds.
Referee Michael Alexander scored 60-54.
