Margarito receives his boxing license from Texas and I’m glad

Image: Margarito receives his boxing license from Texas and I’m gladBy Manuel Perez: Showing California and Nevada Athletic Commissions how it’s done, the Texas Athletic Commission gave Antonio Margarito back his boxing license today, all without a needless hearing and I’m glad for Margarito. He did his time, served his suspension and deserves to be fighting again. I can’t wait until he gets in the ring with Manny Pacquiao and gives him a beating of his life. All this criticism that Margarito is getting is so much jealously. These people want to keep Margarito from making a living by keeping him out of the sport he loves. Hey, when you’ve done your time in this country, you’re supposed to be given a second chance.

I don’t think people understand what America is all about. The man did his time and he’s allowed to fight again. People need to learn to live with Texas’s decision. I wish I could shake all of the Commission member’s hands for doing this for Margarito. He’s been waiting long enough to fight again in the U.S. and finally a group of individuals have stood up for his rights.

Okay, so now that it’s done, I don’t want to keep hearing people crying about the decision for the next three months. Move on, the decision has been made and let’s enjoy what should be the best fight since Juan Manuel Marquez gave Pacquiao a beating in 2008. Pacquiao made a huge mistake in fighting Margarito. This man is going to get primitive on Pacquiao and take him places he hasn’t been in a long time. Pacquiao looked half there in his last fight against Joshua Clottey. I never saw a fighter as beaten up as Pacquiao after only getting hit like 10 times in every round.

Margarito is going to be going back to his old style of throwing 100 punches per round. Pacquiao won’t be able to take that kind of punishment, as little as he is. Doesn’t matter that Pacquiao is going to be using an energy draining catch weight in this fight, Margarito is still going to be too strong for the Filipino. I know Bob Arum thinks that Pacquiao will win this fight, but he’s wrong. He’s going to be sorry he made the mistake of putting Manny in with Margarito. It’s going to get way out of hand early when Margarito doesn’t stop punching and Pacquiao starts getting beaten up and looking like an old hound dog around the eyes.

The eyes are going to be swollen up, and I bet one or two teeth will be falling from his mouth from Margarito’s punches. Pacquiao won’t be able to take that kind of punishment and will start yelping when hit to the body. There isn’t a plan on earth that could save Pacquiao in this fight. Ole Nostradamus Roach can come up with every trick in the book for this fight, and Pacquiao will still get the living daylights beaten out of him. There will be blood.
