Image: Pacquiao-Mayweather, The Saga Continuesby Kaygee Ocampo: When the news broke out that Pacquiao-Mayweather fight will be set on March 13, the news was too good to be true, however as they say, some good things never last. Demands were raise from both camps, demands that generate million questions from boxers and boxing fans alike. Demands that generate doubt to solidify the legacy of Money and Manny. Demands that set the fight not to happen. Demands that if could be answered from both camps with evidences, will turn the dream fight into reality. Here are some of the questions regarding and the fight and relating to every people around it.

The drug test. Why is there a need for another drug test? If blood test were more effective that urine, why does the world does not standardize their method of testing to what test is more efficient? Can the so called “drug experts” provide substantial evidence to their claim that blood test if much effective than the test taking urine? Since Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. are set to fight for professional bout, why hire agency that cater to amateur rules/events? If USADA is the standard laboratory for drug testing, why doesn’t professional leagues tie up with them for drug test? What are the reason behind 24hours drug testing? What are its pros and cons if the blood were to be taken 2,3,4,5,6,7 days before the fight and 2hours after the start of the fight?

Bloods and Needles. Can they provide evidences that not all people get physically weakened after blood is taken? Can we question one’s belief even without scientific facts to support it?

Opinions. Why Oscar De La Hoya suddenly had change of heart? Why only now he wanted blood test when his fighter is against a suspected user and not before when his fighter is a suspected user? If Pac punches where nothing as what De La Hoya said before, why did he quit? And why did De La Hoya suddenly felt the punching power? Is Cotto’s claim might only be to increase again his confidence because he have not yet witnessed someone took his punches like Pacquiao did? If you are to say you’re the great, would you make excuses? Is it right that what we call the “greatest” is someone who’s willing to take the risk despite the big disadvantages?

The fights and the duck. Is Pacquiao legacy can be represented by his record and his opponent? Is PBF record can be represented by his record and his opponent? Do both of them fight the top fighters of all possible division they are categorized in? Do both fighters fight all of their opponents in their prime or did they retire them while they are still in their prime? Why did Mayweather retire when all the top welterweights battle for the supremacy of the division? Why he didn’t fight Pacquiao right after he came back? If Mayweather is the champ, why didn’t he fight the best offered challenges? If Pacquiao ducked opponents why would he fight the champ at each division?

The 10million per weight excess. Would the demand be made if Mayweather has not breach the contract when he exceeds the 144lbs weigh-in limits? Is the demand not logical?

IF the blood test will be settled does this mean, every fans is guaranteed of Pacquiao and Mayweather fight? Or are there any issues that will be both raised by each camp?

These questions will silence haters and will make them thinks whose camp says the truth and who clearly duck.
