By Josh Meador: On September 19th Juan Manuel Marquez (50-4-1 37 KO’s) collides with the former pound 4 pound king and undefeated super star Floyd Money Mayweather (39-0 25KO’S). True boxing fans are routing for this to be a great fight that will answer two questions. One, does Mayweather still have what it takes to the reclaim his crown as the pound 4 pound king of boxing? Two, or does Marquez possess the skills & ability to pull off a major upset, and further his right to be regarded as the new pound 4 pound king?

Khan-Kotelnik: Amir’s Career on the Line
By Scott Gilfoid: After seeing Marco Maidana make quick work of Victor Ortiz last weekend, I now have a bad feeling about Amir Khan’s chances of beating WBA light welterweight champion Andriy Kotelnik in their bout on July 18th at the M.E.N. Arena, in Manchester. Kotelnik, 31, fought Maidana very tough for 12 rounds, taking his best shots and firing back good combinations of his own.

Sutherland Stops Rasalev, Fails to Impress
By Nate Anderson: Irish super middleweight prospect Darren Sutherland (4-0, 4 KO’s) struggled to beat Ukrainian Gennadiy Rasalev (2-2, 1 KO’s), stopping him in the 4th round due to a cut over the left eye of Rasalev at the York Hall, in Bethnal Green, England. Sutherland, 27, the 2008 Olympic Bronze Medalist for Ireland, found himself in a much tougher fight than he perhaps expected to get and was hit often by the taller 6’0” Rasalev.
Booth Decisions Dean, Dallas Destroys Belokon – Boxing Results
By Nate Anderson: BBBofC British super bantamweight champion Jason Booth (33-5, 13 KO’s) easily defeated challenger Rocky Dean (14-3-2, 4 KO’s) by a lopsided 12-round unanimous decision on Tuesday night at York Hall, in Bethnal Green, London. The final judges’ scores were 120-108, 119-109 and 119-109. Booth, 31, who was making his first defense of his title after winning the vacant title with a 6th round TKO over Mark Moran in April, tried trading shots with Dean on the inside in the 1st round.
