Broner is clearly the more talented fighter of the two, the bigger puncher, the faster faster and the better guy defensively.

The only real thing that DeMarco has going for him in this fight is his 5’10” height, which will give him a three inch height advantage over the 5’7″ Broner. That’s not enough, though. That’s a good thing to have, don’t get me wrong, but DeMarco’s reach is the exact same as Broner’s, and that means that Broner will have no problems landing his shots against the taller DeMarco.

This fight will be televised by HBO, and it should get really good ratings because Broner is quickly becoming a huge HBO star in the same mode as his hero Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Broner recently said to ESPN “I want to be the first boxer to generate a billion dollars.’ That’s interesting because that would mean that Broner will have to eclipse Floyd Mayweather Jr. in the near future as the big pay per view money man in the sport. To make that happen, Broner will have to be a lot more active than Mayweather, who generally fights no more than once a year, and sometimes not even that. Broner will have to resist letting the money slow him down to where he’s missing countless fights. He’s got to stay focused and limit his playtime if he wants to get the upper level of PPV stars like Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao.

Broner better not overlook DeMarco next month because he could pay for it dearly by getting beaten. DeMarco can really punch, as his record proves it. He’s been knocking out almost everyone he’s faced recently and has been looking sensational in doing it. Broner can’t let DeMarco land his shots cleanly because there’s too much danger there that he could get knocked out. Broner might be a great fighter but if he lets DeMarco land his big shots, he’s not going to last long against him.
