By Dan Ambrose: According to RingTV, the reason why there wasn’t any drug testing for WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. last Saturday night was because the Texas State Athletic Commission failed to book a drug testing laboratory.

By Chris Williams: Newly crowned WBO super bantamweight champion Nonito Donaire didn’t break his left hand in his win over Wilfredo Vazquez Jr. last Saturday night, according to Steve Kim of maxboxing.com. Kim is reporting that Donaire’s wife, Rachel Donaire, says there were no fractures round during the medical check on Donaire’s left hand.
