What If Timothy Bradley Wins Against Pacquiao?

bradley677By Alon Calinao Dy: There are many options for team Bradley if they win this fight against the dangerous Manny Pacquiao on April 12. If Tim Bradley wins, this would automatically put him into a limelight and a potential battle against his countryman and undefeated boxer Floyd Mayweather, Jr. Although Pacquiao would still be a big name in boxing, I think his declining skills and talents would certainly push him into retirement in the sweet science.

If Bradley wins, he could be placed at the top 3 pound-for-pound boxer of the world. He could have TV commercials just like Pacquiao, or demand for a high payday of his career against his future opponents, and the world would definitely recognize and respect him. Also, he could make excuses on his first fight against Pacquiao that he has an injured foot, that’s why he could not move around well. He could legitimately claim that he won the first match. Therefore, he could say whatever he wants to say to Pacquiao because he just has defeated him.

In addition, all eyes are with him. Thus, the long-much awaited fight of the century between Mayweather, Jr. and Pacquiao is not going to happen anytime soon. It is all because boxing fans are going to lose their interest in the potential fight. It means, Bradley would either go for a rematch against veteran boxer Juan Manuel Marquez or demand a face-off against his fellow American boxer Mayweather, Jr.

I guess it is hard to make a speculation right now. Perhaps, Bradley has the blueprint to finally beat the Filipino icon for their upcoming bout. However, it would take lots of strength and training techniques to execute this master plan. Pacquiao, on the other hand, is not an easy opponent. Hopefully this time, there would be no errors and bias in the scorecards from the judges.
