Some known facts about boxing: One Punch can change a fight. The punch is not necessarily a “KNOCKOUT” punch, but it can also be a strong enough a punch for your opponent to respect you, even more so, this punch can even be “The Jab” that you keep sticking in your opponents face, that frustrated them, takes away their vision, sets up your power punch or simply stops the opponent from getting “SET”.

Then there is the HEART, which reveals the truth about a fighter. The heart can easily show weather a fighter is a “Pride Fighter” or a “Prize Fighter”

Most boxers probably gets into the fight game either to show that they are good at something and can probably make a living doing. It’s good basic for wanting to get into the boxing game. There is also nothing wrong with protecting yourself, your health and still be able to climb the ladder of success in this game. You can also become a champion and fulfill your dreams if you are managed and guided right. Is anything wrong with this?, NO! ( Sven Ottke ).

The choice is strictly up to the boxers themselves. If you can avoid the difficult way, the difficult fights and STILL get to your goal of becoming a champion, whats so wrong with it? NOTHING!

We the fans demand to see. WHAT THE BOXERS already know in their hearts. All fighters out there knows their fears, doubts or confidence towards every possible opponents out there and we the fans want to see it come out!

Amir Khan has potential if Freddie Roach can make him think Great fighters like Ali, Sugar Ray, Marvin Hagler and many more are INTELLIGENT FIGHTERS.

The boxing Gurus definition of a good fighter is “a fighter knows how to adapt and change plans in the middle of a fight”.

I say a good fighter must bring skills to the table and is intelligent in knowing how to use those skills and is always no matter what part of a fight is looking for ways to use other skills that he possesses.

Pros of Amir Khan

Has good Skills and still needs to be developed.
Good Stamina
Good Heart ( because of his style, ONLY STYLE, he knows no better)
Good Punch (Enough for opponents to respect him, this is the only point that helps him in a fight)
Better chin than most people think (Maidana and Prescott would knock anyone down)

Cons of Amir Khan

Freddie Roach – Amir needs to develop a defense that is not only based on dancing, but knowing when to stand your ground, and how to do it.

ABSOLUTELY not Intelligent. He needs to learn to be intelligent, if not, he will only be a energy fighter.
Has the long arms and power to be an effective body puncher, but does not use it when he gets in close.
Lots of potential that he has is wasted.

There are somethings that a boxer can be taught, like how to throw combinations. So when he gets a chance to throw a combination. HE DOES ONLY THAT.

Intelligent is he throws the combination but sees that some other combination would work better and does that instead. This is not Amir Khan.

I am a fan of Amir Khan but this evaluation is based on facts.

Amir Khan will be successful so long as he chooses his opponents wisely (This they are smart at), he will get the big fight and will also do well.

In respect to Amir Khan, Maidana, Barrera and Zab Judah fights prove that he has a right to be respected. The Peterson fight does not show you how to beat Amir Khan, it simply shows you how unnecessary Amir Khan fights because of the lack of Intelligence.

Bringing high skills to a boxing match is never going to be enough, you must be intelligent to know how to use those skills.

Amir Khan should not be called the KING, until he clean up his game and pass the SAT’s of Boxing.

Then he will be a “PRIDE FIGHTER” and the prize comes along with it – money and fame!
