By Scott Gilfoid: Unbeaten heavyweight prospect Deontay Wilder (25-0, 25 KO’s) is picking IBF/IBO/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (58-3, 50 KO’s) to defeat Mariusz Wach (27-0, 15 KO’s) by a knockout next month in their big title fight at the O2 World Arena in Hamburg, Germany.
Speaking with Ringpolkska, Wilder said “I don’t think he’s [Wladimir] underestimating him [Wach], but I think [he’ll win] by knockout.”
The reason why the talented Wilder can expertly pick a winner for this fight is because he’s currently one of Wladimir’s top sparring partners in his training camp to help get Wladimir ready for Wach, and he knows just how good Wladimir is after having sparred with him a number of times already.
