By Mike Gamm: Puerto Rican light welterweight knock out artist Thomas Dulorme (11- 0- 10KOs) will be facing ex World champion southpaw DeMarcus Corley (37- 17- 1- 22KO’s) in a 10 round bout at welterweight. The fight will take place in the Roseland Ballroom, New York, United States. At only the age of 21 this will be Dulorme’s third fight in the United States and is expecting his third knock out there as well.

DeMarcus Corley use to be good lightweight champion, he has lost to great fighters such as Zab Judah and Floyd Mayweather and has shown a good a good chin however he has been stopped at light welterweight before, by people like Miguel Cotto and Lucas Martin Matthysse. In his previous fight’s in the United States Dulorme has shown he can land good combinations without getting hit and brute knockout power which is what Dulorme does best, i can see him blowing the 36 year old Corley out the water with his style and just his fast right hand.

Corley is merely a stepping stone for this young prospect, he is 36 and i can see him retiring if he gets stopped in this fight which he most likely will. Thomas Dulorme has shown he has the talent and power and at a frame of 5″11 he has the physical tools to progress to welterweight and light middleweight when he gets older. Thomas Dulorme is one for the future if he keeps going the way he is. I can see this Puerto Rican going far, and i think he should stay at the weaker division, light welterweight for the time being before contending at welterweight he has so much time only to get better.
