Mohammedi flurried on a defenseless Dudchenko in the 7th round until the referee Shawn Clark stepped in and halted the fight at 0:37 of the round. Dudchenko had absolutely no defense for the 29-year-old Mohammedi’s right hand all night long, and he looked more like a first time amateur than a 35-year-old fighter with 12 years under his belt as a pro.

Dudchenko refused hold his left arm high to block the right hands that Mohammedi was nailing him with round after round. The fight should have been stopped after the 3rd round when it was clear that Dudchenko had no clue in how to block Mohammedi’s right hands.

In between rounds, Dudchenko’s trainer was literally begging him to throw punches, but he simply or couldn’t. When Dudchenko did throw shots, they looked like a wild shot that you’d see a drunk throw. It was totally wild swings that weren’t set up with a jab or anything. Dudchenko looked groggy and weak from the first round, and it was the strangest thing you’d ever see in a fight. Dudchenko occasionally landed some of his wild punches, but they were so weak that they had nothing on them whatsoever.

After the fight, Mohammedi said “We’re ready for Bernard Hopkins. I’m going to train hard or Hopkins. Bernard. I’m going to take your belt.”

I think Hopkins is safe. Mohammedi is pretty predictable, as all he has is a right hand and nothing else. He literally comes out looking to throw nothing but right hands, and if you keep your guard up or move to the right, Mohammedi will have problems.
