I don’t know about you but I’m not in the least bit interested in the Pacquiao-Mosley undercard fights – not one.

Here is what you’ll get for your hard-earned money: Ray Narh vs. Mike Alvarado at light welterweight, Kelly Pavlik vs. Alfonso Lopez at super middleweight and Wilfredo Vazquez Jr. vs. Jorge Arce at super bantamweight. Sorry, but those aren’t fights that I’m particularly excited at seeing. However, it will you at least three chances to go to your refrigerator and grab some beer, wine or food of some sorts.

Ray Narh vs. Mike Alvarado

I’ve seen them both a number of times and have not been impressed. Can’t see either of them ever winning a legitimate, non-paper title in this lifetime. So why should I care about this fight? I don’t. I wouldn’t want to see this fight even it were on ESPN 2.

Kelly Pavlik vs. Alfonso Lopez

A terrible mismatch. Lopez has no experience against upper tier fighters, has no hand speed, no power and and is over his head in this fight. Pavlik is stepping up in weight to the super middleweight division. He looked horrible in his last fight against Sergio Martinez. I don’t mind seeing Pavlik fight, but not against an unknown fighter with no power or hand speed and certainly not one where I have to pay to see Pavlik fight after he just got spanked.

Jorge Arce vs. Wilfredo Vazquez Jr.

This fight is a mismatch. Arce isn’t the same fighter he once was and has been getting beaten when he steps up against better fighters. Arce can still fight when matched against lesser opposition but in this case he’s out of his league. Vazquez Jr., the WBO super bantamweight champion, will win, but it won’t be saying much. I don’t think highly of Vazquez Jr. and see him as a knockout waiting to happen. As soon as Nonito Donaire moves up to super bantamweight, Vazquez Jr. will be history. In the meantime, I’d much rather see Vazquez Jr. face someone like Guillermo Rigondeaux, who I believes would totally destroy Vazquez. I’m not interesting in seeing Vazquez beat up on an old fighter like Arce with his inflated #1 ranking by the WBO.
