By Jim Dower: Unbeaten cruiserweight Andrew Tabiti (13-0, 11 KOs) kept his unbeaten record intact with a 10 round unanimous decision over Keith Tapia (17-1, 11 KOs) on Friday night at Sam’s Town Live in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The judges scores were 99-90, 97-92, and 97-92. Tabiti knocked Tapia down in the 8th when he landed a nice shot that caused Tapia to touch the canvas with a glove. Despite winning the fight, Tabiti looked very slow of hand and foot, and not someone that will worry any of the top cruiserweights in the division like Krzystof Glowaki or Olesandr Usyk.

In a dull fight, unbeaten cruiserweight Michael Hunter (12-0, 8 KOs) defeated Isiah Hunter (15-1, 6 KOs) by a 10 round unanimous to capture the vacant WBO NABO cruiserweight title.

The final judges’ scores were 99-91, 100-90 and 100-90.

Super middleweight Ronald Gavril (16-1, 12 KOs) defeated Juan Camilo Novoa (25-7-1, 23 KOs) by a 4th round knockout. The fight ended with Gavril dropping Nova with a shot to the midsection. After Novaa got back to his feet, Gavril landed a series of big shots that led the fight to be halted at 2:08 of the round.

Unbeaten light welterweight Sanjarbek Rakhmanov (4-0-1, 3 KOs) and Alfonso Olvera (7-2-1, 3 KOs) found to six round draw. The final scores were 58-56 for Rakhmanov, and 58-56 Olvera, and 57-57 even.
