By Dan Ambrose: A fight between former WBO 140lb champ Mike Alvarado (34-3, 23 KOs) and former WBA 135lb champion Brandon Rios (32-2-1, 23 KOs) will be announced today in a press conference in Denver, Colorado.
Rios and Alvarado will be facing each other next month on January 24th at the 1stBank Center, in Bloomfield, Colorado, USA. This will be the third fight between them, and likely not the last. Both guy’s careers have tanked recently, and it’s hard to see where they can go from here after this fight.
