For his part, Easter Jr. is getting a purse of $500,000 for their fight at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. Garcia should get more than $1 million if he faces IBF welterweight champion Errol Spence Jr.

Garcia weighed in at 135 pounds. Easter Jr. weighed in a half pound less at 134 ½ lbs. During the face off, the 5’11” Easter Jr. towered over the 5’6” Mikey.

The contender took the fight in short notice due that Hughie Fury pulled off the fight citing a lower back injury. The score cards were 117-110 twice and 119-108; I had it scored 120-107 for Parker.

Parker’s hulking 6’7 ½” opponent Cojanu weighed in at a monstrous 274 ¾ pounds at Friday’s weigh-in. So we’re talking 29 lbs. that Cojanu will have over the 6’4” Parker.
By Scott Gilfoid: It looks like WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder won’t be getting a unification fight against WBO heavyweight belt holder Anthony Parker (22-0, 18 KOs) this year after all, as the New Zealander is interested in a match against IBF/WBA champ Anthony Joshua. He’s at the top of the list for the guys that Parker wants to fight. Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn wants the 25-year-old Parker to fight in the UK later this year against the likes of Dillian Whyte or Tony Bellew.

The 6’7 ½” Cojanu is a fine replacement for the previously scheduled #1 WBO mandatory challenger Hughie Fury, who pulled out of the fight with Parker because of a back ailment.
