Bradley: Mayweather knows I’ll fight him any time and any place

bradley68By Dan Ambrose: WBO welterweight champion Tim Bradley (31-0, 12 KO’s) has a big fight this Saturday night against Manny Pacquiao (55-5-2, 38 KO’s), and the chances are Bradley will come up short and wind up losing this fight on way or another. He’s giving up a lot of speed and power to Pacquiao, and the only thing he has going for him is his heart and his supreme confidence But Bradley feels he’s definitely going to beat Pacquiao, and he’d like to fight Floyd Mayweather Jr. so that he can prove who the No.1 fighter is in boxing.

To Bradley, he thinks a win over Pacquiao will prove without a doubt that he’s the No.2 two fighter, but he’d still need to fight Mayweather for the No.1 spot to show fans who the better fighter is.

Pacquiao – Bradley 2: No more lies on Saturday night

pac125By Yannis Mihanos: Just a few days before the big fight between WBO welterweight champion Tim Bradley (31-0, 12 KO’s) and Manny Pacquiao (55-5-2, 38 KO’s) on Saturday night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. The knives have already gone out from both sides. Eight time division world champion Pacquiao seems as ready as ever and as aggressive as ever for this fight.

Welterweight champion Bradley appears ready and confident too. In their sparring sessions both looked in tip top shape. Bradley seems overly muscular, and it is obvious to me that his increased body mass index was a main target for the preparation.

Pacquiao vs. Bradley 2 – No Critical Thinking

bradley73By Marc Livitz: It’s fight week in Las Vegas and the grand arrivals (at the Grand) have officially begun. What’s at stake this coming Saturday evening, as if they have not already been spun in countless directions? In some ways, the spinning is good, inasmuch as the angles of righting the wrongs and proving the rights can possibly go.

Why is it that if Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley met in a rematch in say, October 2012 (as Tim so famously predicted with a giant novelty ticket at the final press conference before their June 2012 bout) that so many ardent and casual boxing fans alike would quite possibly have said, “hogwash and rubbish” or any other applicable jargon, yet this Saturday’s contest is projected to surpass the previous outing?

Pacquiao takes a pay cut for Bradley fight, will only make $20 million

pac723By Chris Williams: WBO welterweight champion Tim Bradley (31-0, 12 KO’s) will get a slight bump up in pay for his fight against Manny Pacquiao (55-5-2, 38 KO’s) from the $5 million that he fought Pacquiao for in 2012 to $6 million for his fight this Saturday night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. Pacquiao is taking a considerable pay cut from the $26 million that he got for the first Bradley fight to $20 million for his rematch with him on Saturday.

They’re not saying why Pacquiao is taking a cut in pay, but it certainly can’t be due to the undercard costing a fortune because there’s not much there in terms of well-known fighters. What it likely means is that due to Pacquiao’s low pay-per-view totals in his last fight against Brandon Rios, which drew only 475,000 PPV buys, their estimating that the interest might not be high enough for Pacquiao to get a huge payday. As low as the numbers were for the Rios fight, you can’t assume that Pacquiao-Bradley 2 fight will do better than 500,000 buys.

Bradley’s trainer: I think this is Manny Pacquiao’s last fight

pac63673By Chris Williams: Joel Diaz, the trainer for WBO welterweight champion Tim Bradley (31-0, 12 KO’s), believes that Bradley will be officially putting the 35-year-old Manny Pacquiao (55-5-2, 38 KO’s) out of his misery this Satruday night in their fight at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Both Diaz and Bradley see Pacquiao one loss away from being put out to pasture, and they see this fight on Saturday as the tipping point that will send him skittering into a permanent retirement.

Pacquiao has already lost 2 out of his last 3 fights, so it’s not as if what they’d be doing to him would be anything really new. The end has been approaching for quite some time for the Filipino star.

Pacquiao vs. Bradley – Why it’s must win for both fighters

bradley15By Simon Allen: At the MGM Grand, Garden Arena, Las Vegas, Timothy Bradley takes on Manny Pacquiao for the second time in what promises to be one of the biggest fights of 2014. After the controversy of the last fight and the paths both fighters have progressed down since, both fighters have much to win and a lot to lose.

Manny Pacquiao, 55/ 5/ 2 (38) comes to the fight fresh over a dominant win of an outclassed Brandon Rios and looking to avenge defeat to Bradley in their previous fight. Much of the appeal of the fight centres on the fact that nearly everyone who watched the first fight had Pacquiao winning comfortably. Indeed a WBO championship committee upon review had all five of the judges they used scoring the fight for Pacquiao however the result was not overturned. Manny indeed has much to be aggrieved by.

Throw in the jibes from Bradley and his camp about Pacquiao’s apparent loss of desire and loss of killer instinct and there seems good reason for Manny to prove a point. The word is the normally passive and respectful Manny is angry and out for revenge.

Bradley: Pacquiao is just fighting for money now

pac6By Chris Williams: WBO welterweight champion Tim Bradley (31-0, 12 KO’s) thinks Manny Pacquiao (55-5-2, 38 KO’s) has lost his desire for the sport and just fighting for the money instead of fighting for the love of competing. For Bradley, he sees that as the difference between him and the 35-year-old Pacquiao. He still loves competing and wants to fight as well as he can each time he steps in the ring. It’s not about money for Bradley; it’s about him looking to compete and beat his opponent.

“I’m a better fighter. It’s my time to shine,” Bradley said. “Manny’s only fighting for money now.”

Bradley is excited, not afraid of Pacquiao

bradley626By Alon Calinao Dy: On April 12, speculation is circulating around the boxing forums that Timothy Bradley is now terrified for his atrocious comments against his rival Manny Pacquiao, which will be held at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.

There is unyielding report that the Filipino icon is going to show his brilliant moves to punish the unbeaten American boxer.
