Tim Bradley with little chance to beat Pacquiao

bradley14By Dan Ambrose: WBO welterweight champion Tim Bradley (31-0, 12 KO’s) is set for what will very likely be his first loss of his career on April 12th in his rematch against Manny Pacquiao (55-3-2, 38 KO’s) at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. Bradley, at his best, is really little more than a more mobile version of Adrien Broner. You stick movable legs on Broner, and then lower his head into ramming position and you’ve got Tim Bradley. And that’s not going to work for him against Pacquiao a second time around.

We saw Bradley get a controversial decision over Pacquiao two years ago, and we then saw Bradley exposed in his next fight after that by Ruslan Provodnikov. That fight showed Bradley for all of his limitations with him getting beaten up and concussed in winning a fight that he likely would have been knocked out in if there were another 20 seconds left. While Bradley did win his last fight against Juan Manuel Marquez last October, he did it by moving around the ring and barely winning rounds with his low work rate.

Does Manny Pacquiao have enough left to beat Bradley?

pac01By Yannis Mihanos: In the last few years the inability of Manny Pacquiao to finish  matches in spectacular fashion by the way of knockout has been one of the favorite topics in various websites, magazines, and on TV. Some they blame it on his recent election as a congressman for his native country, while some others believe his best is forever gone and that he is now old; some also accuse him of using in the past steroids. So there all kinds of reasons good and bad available but I am not here to judge.

In boxing there are two ways of winning, one is through a knockout and one is through a points decision. While there are both good for the fighter as victory is the main purpose they are not Always good for the fans. Boxing fans around the world always demand something more, something to talk about, something to remember: A knockout.

Pacquiao sets goal to win all 12 rounds against Bradley on April 12th

pac5634By Chris Williams: Manny Pacquiao (55-5-2, 38 KO’s) thinks he won 10 of the 12 rounds in his previous fight against Tim Bradley (31-0, 12 KO’s) two years ago in 2012, and he’s now looking to improve upon that performance by winning all 12 rounds in their rematch on April 12th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Pacquiao also is interested in stopping the 30-year-old Bradley if the chance is there for him. However, it’s not going to be easy for Pacquiao to get a stoppage or to win a lot of rounds against Bradley because he’s not going to plod forward like his recent opponent light welterweight Brandon Rios.

Karma is coming to collect for Tim Bradley

By Yannis Mihanos: In life lessons we are being given and taken. There is a cause and effect in everything. Karma they say is the best teacher. It forces people to face the consequences of their actions and make them improve  or suffer if they do not change attitude. As in life and so in boxing, fighters have to learn similar lessons too.

Pacquiao must prove he still has the passion for prizefighting against Bradley

pac7By Robbie Bannatyne: Judging by the recent comments from Freddie Roach, he plans for Pacquaio to drag Tim Bradley back into the battle field, much in the same way his other protégé Ruslan Provodnikov managed to do in their thrilling ‘Fight of the Year’ in 2013.

Timothy Bradley was taken to hell and back and was lucky survive a life and death battle with the big punching Russian- who is Pacquiao’s long time sparring partner. Roach wants Bradley to relive that nightmare again when he faces his star pupil Manny Pacquiao in their much anticipated April 12th rematch.

What triggers Manny Pacquiao

pacquiao232By Yannis Mihanos: In boxing and life in general there are some things that can bring the best of us out. t=There are also some things that can bring out the worst of us. Those things are called triggers. Those triggers can be anywhere.

On April 12 in Las Vegas, Nevada a boxing fight will take place. It’s the long awaited rematch between WBO welterweight titleholder Timothy Bradley (31-0, 12 KO) and Manny Pacquiao (55-5-2, 38 KO’s).

In brief, the last 2 fights of both fighters were as following:  Tim Bradley had to go through hell in order to get a victory over Ruslan Provodnikov last year in March. Following that, Bradley defeated Juan Manuel Marquez by a relatively easy victory by avoiding his shots for most of the fight. I guess the punishment from Provodnikov was enough to make Bradley change plans and fight smart against Marquez.

Manny Pacquiao: Knockout is the answer

pac4By Yannis Mihanos: Since stopping by a way of knockout Miguel Cotto in November of 2009, Manny Pacquiao hasn’t be able to win the same way again.  A controversial defeat by Tim Bradley that only the judges saw, a close victory by points against Juan Manuel Marquez and a famous knockout defeat by the same opponent in December of 2012.

Coming back almost a year later against Brandon Rios it was obvious that Pacquiao didn’t want to take big risks. He just out-boxed cleverly his opponent in each round and that was enough.

Facing for a second time Bradley, nobody can expect again a controversial decision but then again you can never be sure in boxing.

Roach: Bradley won’t see the compassionate Pacquiao this time

roach45By Chris Williams: On April 12th, trainer Freddie Roach expects to see an aggression and non-compassionate Manny Pacquiao (55-5-2, 38 KO’s) coming out on fire in his rematch against WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley (31-0, 12 KO’s) at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. Roach believes Pacquiao will show the type of ferociousness that he’s not displayed since his 12th round TKO win over Miguel Cotto in 2009, which just happens to be the last time that the Filipino fighter last scored a stoppage.

Pacquiao’s aggressiveness and knockout string disappeared after that fight almost as if water was turned of from the faucet. He’s shown little aggressiveness from that point, and he’s not come close to stopping any of his last 7 opponents despite having some guys that he should have been able to stop.
