We were also told that he was a ‘leftie’ and that Floyd had problems with south-paws, not to mention how this Victor had caused problems as a sparring partner to Manny Pacquiao.

McKenna (McJack): When former World Boxing Council (WBC) welterweight champion Victor Ortiz (29-3-2, 22 KO’s) was KO’d in four rounds against new champion Floyd Mayweather (42-0, 26 KO’s) on September 17 there is no question that the ending was controversial. However a controversial ending does not constitute the need for a rematch, especially when the loser played a pivotal role in contributing to the controversy.

The only man who can beat me is the man in the mirror. Victoria Ortiz’s new nickname is ‘Take 2 of these [punches] and call me in the morning.’ Victoria Ortiz thought it was a headbutting contest. But that 2 piece gave him some act right”
