It seems to be one problem after another for the Pacquiao/Mayweather super-fight proposed to take place on March 13th. The fight has neither been announced or called off yet, but constant obstacles seem to be hindering progress. De La Hoya said in an article at Ring.tv, ”If Pacquiao, the toughest guy on the planet, is afraid of needles and having a few tablespoons of blood drawn from his system, then something is wrong. The guy has tattoos everywhere; he’s tattooed from top to bottom. You’re telling me he’s afraid of needles?”

Personally I believe if you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to worry about, so if Manny isn’t taking performance enhancing drugs then why refuse to take tests.

Bob Arum doesn’t think it will happen, yet Roach says, “Where else is he gonna get this kind of money? We don’t need him. He needs us.” Which is true. Mayweather wouldn’t fight Shane Mosley after Mosely came in and challenged him. Now Mosley is fighting Andre Berto for a two title welterweight unification bout on HBO. Mayweather doesn’t have any options.
