Charles Martin: Tyson Fury will beat Wladimir Klitschko again

wladimir#6By Allan Fox: IBF heavyweight champion Charles Martin is just one of money people who feel that IBO/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (25-0, 18 KOs) will do a number on the aging Wladimir Klitschko (64-4, 53 KOs) when they meet up again in a rematch this year.

Klitschko will be turning 40-year-old next month on March 25, and he’s not a young 40 like his brother Vitali Klitschko when he was still fighting. Vitali was still in his prime when he was 42 at the end of his career. If Wladimir aged as well as Vitali, he would have never lost to Fury in the first place.

Tyson Fury vs. Wladimir Klitschko 2 rematch to be staged in UK or UAE, says Peter F

fury#2By Scott Gilfoid: Trainer Peter Fury says they’ve narrowed down location for the Tyson Fury (25-0, 18 KOs) vs. Wladimir Klitschko (64-4, 53 KOs) rematch to two countries. It’ll either take place in the UK or UAE. Peter says the location of the fight will be based on whichever makes the most revenue.

It’s a risk to stage the fight in the UK because Fury has never fought in a large stadium before, and the last thing they need is to book Wembley Stadium in London and then watch the fight only sell 20,000 tickets or less. Staging the fight in UAE would be a risk as well because it might not sell out and the two could be fighting in front of a ghost town audience.

Charles Martin: Fury will beat Klitschko in rematch

Image: Charles Martin: Fury will beat Klitschko in rematchBy Scott Gilfoid: IBF heavyweight champion Charles Martin (23-0-1, 21 KOs) expects IBO/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (25-0, 18 KOs) to beat 39-year-old former world champion Wladimir Klitschko (64-4, 53 KOs) in their rematch this year. Martin, 6’5”, expects the fight to be easier for Fury than it was last time. There still isn’t a date or a venue for the Fury-Klitschko rematch, but the contract for the fight has reportedly already been worked out.

Fury, 27, did not have an easy time against Wladimir last November in beating him by a close 12 round unanimous decision in Dusseldorf, Germany. If Martin thinks that Fury will do better against Wladimir in the rematch, then he must be assuming that Wladimir will not be using his right hand again like last time.

Tyson Fury: The Fury’s are bred to fight!

fury1000By Scott Gilfoid: While unbeaten IBO/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (25-0, 18 KOs) has been flapping his gums lately about whether he should continue pro career or not, he’s now saying that his family are like horses in that they were designed to be fighters.

It is interesting that Fury says that because born fighters do not usually talk about retiring at the age of 27 the way that he is doing. That kind of thing gives some fans the impression that Fury wants to retire before he’s found out and exposed as not being as good as he might think he is.

Haye expects Fury to beat Wladimir easier in rematch

fury8912By Scott Gilfoid: According to David Haye, IBO/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (25-0, 18 KOs) will do an even better job of beating Wladimir Klitschko (64-4, 53 KOs) in the rematch than he did in their previous fight in November of last year in Dusseldorf, Germany.

Haye thinks the Klitschko era is done and over with, and Fury will be the one to officially end it when/if the two big heavyweights fight each other for a second time. Right now, it still remains to be seen whether Fury and Wladimir will fight again.

Fury is looking to find out where the rematch will take place, and he’s been openly saying that he wants it to take place in the UK rather than in Germany again. Unfortunately for Fury, Wladimir is still arguably the A-side in the equation, even though he’s now just the contender and not the champion.

Tyson Fury wants Wladimir Klitschko rematch to happen as soon as possible

Image: Tyson Fury wants Wladimir Klitschko rematch to happen as soon as possibleBy Scott Gilfoid: Unbeaten and untested IBO/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (25-0, 18 KOs) is in a real hurray to get his rematch with former undisputed heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (64-4, 53 KOs) out of the way as soon as possible so that he can move on to bigger and better things like a unification match against the talented WBC champion Deontay Wilder.

Fury sees the Deontay fight as the biggest fight in the heavyweight division in the past 100 years, and he can’t wait to get the fight to take place. The thing is Fury wants both the Klitschko and Deontay fight to be staged in the UK, and that would seem to be a non-starter.

Tyson Fury: I saved the world from a boring era of Klitschko

fury4By Scott Gilfoid: The much younger 27-year-old Tyson Fury (25-0, 18 KOs) was really patting himself on the back about his win over the 39-year-old Wladimir Klitschko in Fury’s appearance on Real Sports with Bryant Gumball on HBO. Fury beat Klitschko by an extremely close 12 round unanimous decision on November 28th last year in a fight that could have gone Wladimir’s way if he just throw some actual punches instead of standing like a frozen statue.

Fury says that he saved the boxing world by outing an end to Klitschko’s long reign as one of the heavyweight champions.

“I thought, ‘I’ve won the heavyweight championship of the world.’ Hands up straightaway. I looked at Wladimir’s face and I could see he knew he’d lost the fight,” Fury said on HBO’s Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel. “His face told the story of the fight. He was cut to pieces. There was blood squirting out of him left, right and center. And I never had a mark on me. And I saved the world from a boring era of Klitschko.”

Wladimir Klitschko says he knows what to do in Fury rematch

wladimir100By Allan Fox: Wladimir Klitschko (64-4, 53 KOs) is still mentally healing from his defeat at the hands of Tyson Fury (25-0, 18 KOs) from last November in Dusseldorf, Germany. The 39-year-old Wladimir has analyzed his defeat from that night on 11/28, and he understands now why he failed to let his hands go in the way that he needed to in order to be victorious. Wladimir says he knows what he needs to do the next time he gets Fury in the ring in early 2016.

“I never engaged in the fight. I analyzed the reason for this, and I know what I need to do in the future. The result of the rematch will be different,” Klitschko said to boxing247.com.
Wladimir had the punching power and the hand speed to land his shots, but he seemed to lack the nerve to use his weapons. Wladimir looked like he was too concerned about getting countered by Fury if he missed one of his power shots. This appeared to be the reason why he didn’t let his hands go the way he needed to.

Mentally, Wladimir is likely to keep on suffering until he can finally get Fury in the ring to find out if he lost to the better man, or if he simply doesn’t have it anymore at the age of 39.

Abraham: Wladimir beats Fury in rematch

wladimir44By Scott Gilfoid: WBO super middleweight champion Arthur Abraham is saying that he believes 39-year-old Wladimir Klitschko (64-4, 53 KOs) will come out victorious in his recent with Britain’s Tyson Fury (25-0, 18 KOs) in 2016 to avenge his loss from last November and recapture some of his lost world titles in the process.

Abraham thinks that Wladimir just had a bad day when he fought Fury last year, but this time he’s going to be better prepared for the things that Fury does in the ring so that he can win back his IBF/WBA/WBO heavyweight titles.

If Wladimir wants to win back his IBF title, he’ll need to fight the winner of this Saturday’s fight between Charles Martin and Vyacheslav Glazkov, because they’ll be fighting for the vacant IBF title on the undercard of the Deontay Wilder vs. Artur Szpilka fight at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Haye: Tyson Fury beats Wladimir Klitschko in rematch

wladimir100By Scott Gilfoid: It goes without saying that Tyson Fury (25-0, 18 KOs) and Wladimir Klitschko (64-4, 53 KOs) were involved in one of the dullest heavyweight title fights in history last November in Dusseldorf, Germany.

I’m sure there may have been some duller fights in the history of world title fights, but I’d have to say that this ranks as one of the most boring fights I’ve ever seen. Unfortunately for boxing fans, a rematch will be taking place between Fury and Klitschko in the first half of 2016, and we can only pray that the fight has more action than their last fight.

British heavyweight David Haye believes that Fury will win the rematch against Wladimir because he felt that Fury easily won last November against Klitschko. I can’t say I agree that Fury easily won, but he definitely did win a narrow decision based off of him landing a few more punches per round than the nearly 40-year-old Wladimir.
