By Scott Gilfoid: With all this talk about WBA light welterweight champion Amir Khan (21-1, 15 KO’s) fighting Ricky Hatton or Timothy Bradley, I never for a second believed that it would happen. As it turns out, I’m probably right about my predictions, because the latest boxing news floating around the net is that Khan, 22, will likely face his number #1 mandatory challenger, Ukrainian Dimitry Salita (30-0-1, 16 KO’s) instead of a much more lucrative bout against Hatton.

By Tom Stokes: Its seems that Amir Khan (21-1, 15 KO’S) has threaded the eye of the needle, at least for now anyway, Khan who defeated Andriy Kotelnik (31-3, 13 KO’s) on a lopsided unanimous decision in July for the WBA light welterweight championship, was now expected to fight either number 1 ranked mandatory contender Dmitriy Salita (30-0-1, 16 KO’s), or interim champion Marcos Maidana (26-1, 25 KO’s), but its seems now that a both contenders may be fighting each other in November of this year.
