Danny Garcia doubts Khan would give him a rematch if he won their previous fight

khan222By William Mackay: WBA/WBC light welterweight champion Danny Garcia (25-0, 16 KO’s) doesn’t think Amir Khan (27-3, 19 KO’s) would be giving him a rematch if Khan had beaten him last July instead of the other way around. Garcia thinks Khan doesn’t give guys rematches after he beats them, even when it’s a fight where boxing fans really want to see the rematch like in Khan’s in over Marcos Maidana.

Khan called Garcia out last Saturday night after Khan’s 10th round knockout win over Carlos Molina at the Sports Arena in Los Angeles, California.

Did Garcia really beat Khan

khan5634A great deal has been said and written about Danny Garcia beating Amir Khan. Some fans and writers believe Khan got exposed while others marvel at Garcia’s punching power. A cold analysis of that fight will reveal the following: Garcia didn’t beat Khan. Khan beat himself. Garcia was throwing that left hook of his during the first 3 rounds and wildly missing with it.

Khan was beating him up and straight out classing him big time, busting up his nose and eyes but Khan got cocky, excited, though it was done and wanted to finish him in style to get a glorious knock out. He started to go in open like nothing could hit him and Garcia threw that hail mary, eyes closed, full force desperation left hook and caught Khan.

Danny Garcia interested in rematch with Khan

garcia56By William Mackay: WBA/WBC light welterweight champion Danny Garcia says he’s up for a rematch with former IBF/WBA light welterweight champion Amir Khan after watching him defeat Carlos Molina last night by a 10th round TKO in Los Angeles, California. Khan called Garcia out after the fight, saying he’d be willing to fight him “Anytime, anyplace.” Khan also claimed that his knockout loss to Garcia was due to Garcia getting “lucky.”

Garcia said to Sky Sports News “It’s up to what Golden Boy wants because I can say ‘yeah, let’s go do it’ but really I have no control over it…If everything is right we can do it.”
It doesn’t seem likely that Golden Boy will let Khan fight Garcia again if you’re to read the tea leaves from what Richard Schaefer, the CEO of Golden Boy said after the fight.

Is Amir Khan Playing The Blame Game?

Image: Is Amir Khan Playing The Blame Game?By Mohammed Abulkhair: There is no doubt that former WBA and IBF Light Welterweight champion Amir “King” Khan has the attributes of speed, movement, and heart. However, those three do not really mean much if you do not have a chin that goes with them. I am not saying that you need the chin of the great “Marvelous” Marvin Hagler or Carlos Monzon, but in boxing you need a decent chin to keep you in the game.

Khan doesn’t want to share Roach with other fighters, and wants someone that’s there for him whenever he needs him. Khan also needs a trainer that specializes more on teaching defense which he clearly needs boatloads of help with. Roach isn’t noted for being a great defensive trainer.
