By Dan Ambrose: Vasyl Lomachenko made it look incredibly easy last Saturday night in dispatching Jason Sosa in the 9th round in their fight on HBO World Championship Boxing, but now he wants Mikey Garcia, Terence Crawford, Orlando Salido or Terry Flanagan. Lomachenko (8-1, 6 KOs) says he’s going to ask his promoters at Top Rank to get him a title fight against one of the other champions at super featherweight, and if they’re unable to do so, then he’ll be moving up to lightweight to go after champions Mikey Garcia and Terry Flanagan.

By Jim Dower: WBO super featherweight champion Vasyl Lomachenko (8-1, 6 KOs) put on a boxing clinic in giving former WBA 130lb champion Jason Sosa (20-2-4, 15 KOs) a beating in stopping him at the end of the 9th round on Saturday night at the MGM National Harbor, in Oxon Hill, Maryland. The fight was stopped by Sosa’s trainer at the end of the 9th round. He didn’t want Sosa to continue to soak up needless punishment at the hands of Lomachenko.

By Jim Dower: Unbeaten WBO cruiserweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (11-0, 10 KOs) will be defending his title against unbeaten 2012 Olympian Michael Hunter (12-0, 8 KOs) on April 8 on the undercard of the Vasyl Lomachenko vs. Jason Sosa at the Theater at MGM National Harbor in Oxon Hill, MD. The fights will be on HBO Championship Boxing.

Also on the card is unbeaten #6 WBO, #6 WBC, #7 IBF light heavyweight contender Oleksandr Gvozyk (12-0, 10 KOs) facing Yunieski Gonzalez (18-2, 14 KOs) in a 10 round fight. The fight between the two world champions will be televised live on HBO World Championship Boxing, beginning at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT.

The non-televised undercard will feature undefeated No. 1 super middleweight contender JESSE “Hard Work” HART from Philadelphia, PA., and local favorites from the metro Washington, D.C. area, including undefeated prospects MIKE “Yes Indeed” REED and PATRICK HARRIS in separate bouts.
