Tyson Fury wants to fight Deontay Wilder after David Haye bout, says Hennessy

wilder48By Scott Gilfoid: Unbeaten British heavyweight Tyson Fury (21-0, 15 KO’s) says he wants to face unbeaten American contender Deontay Wilder (29-0, 29 KO’s) if Fury can get past David Haye (26-2, 24 KO’s) on September 28th in the UK. Fury’s promoter Mick Hennessy says that the 6’7″ Deontay is the one that Fury wants after Haye, and he’s eager to put that fight together.

Hennessy told I Film London “Tyson said once he knocks David Haye out, he’s going to take the best heavyweight who he considers in world boxing from the U.S [Deontay Wilder], and he’s going to take him on in a massive fight. That’s Tyson, he doesn’t swerve anyone, and Deontay, he wants the same.”

The Madness of Tyson Fury: The Future King of Heavyweight Boxing?

fury5445By Billy Bogan: Tyson Fury, love or loathe him, is by far the most entertainingly bizarre character to come out of British boxing since Chris Eubank Senior. Fury’s record is excellent on paper, but so severely padded out at present that it’s hard to judge how good he really is… or how good he will become.

He is an enigma of sorts. The first thing most boxing fans saw of Fury was a fat and out of shape kid bigging himself up, but not producing the desired performances to match. He was undeniably clumsy in his approach and he didn’t look like a future Heavyweight champion at all. In fact I was convinced back when I watched him defeat a little known Northern Irish fighter called Scott Belshaw that the big man from Manchester would be beaten soon enough. But, like so many other fight fans, I was wrong.

Joshua picks Haye to beat Fury on September 28th

joshua46By Scott Gilfoid: 2012 Olympic Super Heavyweight Gold medalist from Britain Anthony Joshua is picking former WBA heavyweight champion David Haye (26-2, 24 KO’s) to beat Tyson Fury (21-0, 15 KO’s) in their fight on September 28th at the Manchester Arena in Manchester, UK.

Joshua sees Haye’s experience as being the telling factor in his favor in beating the 6’9” Fury. I can’t say I disagree with Joshua about that, although I think it’s a heck of a lot more than experience that Haye has in his favor in this fight.

Peter Fury: David Haye will be an easier fight for Fury than people think

fury222By Scott Gilfoid: Peter Fury, the trainer for unbeaten Tyson Fury (21-0, 15 KO’s), sees the 6’9” Fury having an easy time beating former WBA heavyweight champion David Haye (26-2, 24 KO’s) on September 28th at the Manchester Arena in Manchester, UK.

Peter has a secret strategy that he’s going to have the 25-year-old Fury use to easily control and negate any advantages the faster, stronger and much more mobile Haye has going for him.

Peter said to Sky Sports, “I don’t think it’s going to be as hard a fight as people think it is…I think it’s going to be a lot easier and people are going to be shocked at how Tyson deals with it.”

Fury to Haye: You’re going to swallow your teeth

fury565By Scott Gilfoid: Unbeaten Tyson Fury (21-0, 15 KO’s) is promising to give David Haye (26-2, 24 KO’s) a real beating on September 28th when they face each other at the Manchester Arena in Manchester, England, and Fury sees Haye possibly swallowing some teeth in the process of getting knocked out.

Fury flat out told Haye what his plan is to try and beat him in this fight by going straight at him from round 1 and turning the fight into a war. Haye remains skeptical that Fury will do that, as he sees him doing the opposite of whatever he says he’ll do. I’m not so certain that Fury has any other way of fighting but to go to war with Haye.

Tyson Fury is in a winning situation

fury555By Mark Havey: On the 28th of September we will see Britain’s two most controversial heavyweights lock horns in Manchester. David Haye and Tyson Fury started their war of words some time ago, with Fury making toe references. Fury has also dragged up the past by claiming that Haye ignored him when he was a star struck child.

In Britain a lot of importance is put on domestic clashes and they are the fights that get the fans really excited. In any boxing gym you will hear people debating with animated hand gestures and energized enthusiasm. I see this a lot, and even more so with this recent match up.

The majority of people seem to be siding with David Haye based on his lighting fast combinations. For a heavyweight, Haye is exceptionally fast.

Haye: This will be Fury’s last shot at the big time

fury1By Scott Gilfoid: David Haye (26-2, 24 KO’s) figures that his September 28th fight against undefeated heavyweight Tyson Fury (21-0, 15 KO’s) will be Fury’s first and last real opportunity for a big fight because the loss that Fury suffers in this fight will be so conclusive that it will prevent him from getting another opportunity in the future.

In other words, Fury will have been exposed and that will keep from getting another big money fight like this one.

Haye said this as quoted by thesun.co.uk “I believe this will be his last shot at the big time and I’m happy to give him a nice payday. I’m going to show him why I’m the Hayemaker. This guy’s got such a lack of coordination.”

Fury inks contract for David Haye clash on 9/28

fury11By Scott Gilfoid: Tyson Fury (21-0, 15 KO’s) signed the contract for his fight against David Haye (26-2, 24 KO’s) on September 28th, and the fight is now official. Fury and Haye are locked into their all British domestic clash at the Manchester Arena in Manchester, England.

Fury has this short message to announce his fight on his social media site: “Have this b**ch, Haye! I’ve signed!”

Fury may end up getting knocked cold in one or two rounds, but he at least will be well paid in getting stopped. The two fighters could wind up getting paid £5million each. It’s hard to imagine Fury getting that kind of cash given that he’s not done much in his career in terms of facing quality opposition.

Haye-Fury at Manchester Arena on September 28th

fury14By Scott Gilfoid: The September 28th fight between British heavyweights David Haye (26-2, 24 KO’s) and Tyson Fury (21-0, 15 KO’s) was made official today. The mega domestic level clash will be taking place at the Manchester Arena in Manchester, UK. There will be a press conference this Thursday, July 11th, to officially announce the fight.

All I can say about this fight is that Fury is about to get exposed worse than David Price did in his two knockout losses to Tony Thompson. I do see one difference in this fight and the Price-Thompson fights and that has to do with the way this fight will end. I see Haye knocking Fury out with a brutal right hand shot in the 1st or 2nd round.
