Image: Bute: The Froch fight will get madeBy Scott Gilfoid: Former IBF super middleweight champion Lucian Bute (31-1, 24 KO’s) says he will definitely be facing IBF super middleweight champion Carl Froch (30-2, 22 KO’s) in the near future to try and gain revenge for his loss to him earlier this year, and to recapture his IBF 168 lb title.

Bute: I’ll fight Froch in March or the summer and I’m certain I can beat him

Image: Bute: I'll fight Froch in March or the summer and I'm certain I can beat himBy Scott Gilfoid: Lucian Bute (31-1, 24 KO’s) says he watched IBF super middleweight champion Carl Froch’s 3rd round knockout victory over American Yusaf Mack last Saturday night and he came away impressed with Froch’s performance but he did see flaws there that he can exploit in their rematch.

As far as the rematch goes, Bute says it’ll happen but he doesn’t have a definite day. It’s unclear what’s so golden about the fight having to take place in March, but if that’s the way Hearn wants it then it’ll be his and Froch’s loss because Bute has plenty of other guys to fight besides just Froch.

Image: Froch is getting too much credit for his win over ButeBy Scott Gilfoid: After a couple of days of hearing a lot of Carl Froch’s going overboard with praise for the man because of his victory over IBF super middleweight champion Lucian Bute, I think boxing fans need to put the pipe down and slowly take a step back to clear the brain fog a little. Froch didn’t beat the greatest fighter in the super middleweight division, let’s be clear on that.
