Image: Deontay Wilder: Molina will be in the ring with a monster(Photo credit: Lucas Noonan/Premier Boxing Champions) By Scott Gilfoid: WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder (33-0, 32 KOs) says that #9 WBC Eric Molina (23-2, 17 KOs) will be stepping inside the ring with a monster tonight when he gets in the ring with him in their fight on Showtime Championship Boxing. Wilder thinks this is a level that the 33-year-old Molina has never been on before.

It’s hard to disagree with Wilder because the best guy that Molina has faced in his eight year pro career is Chris Arreola, who blew him out in one round in their fight in 2012.

Image: Eric Molina: I know I can hurt Deontay Wilder(Photo credit: Stephanie Trapp/SHOWTIME) By Scott Gilfoid: It’s no secret that #9 WBC Eric Molina (23-2, 17 KOs) is seen as nothing more than a simple fodder opponent for WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder (33-0, 32 KOs) to blast out in short order tonight when these two giant heavyweights go at it on Showtime at the Bartow Arena, in Birmingham, Alabama, USA.

But despite people seeing the 6’5” Molina as a knockout waiting to happen tonight, Molina says he’s extremely confident of winning because he feels he’s got the power top hurt the 29-year-old Deontay with his shots. With that said, Molina is going to have to hope that he can land his big shots before Wilder nails him with something huge first.
