By Scott Gilfoid: Dominic Breazeale (17-0, 15 KOs) has two names in mind in who he wants to fight if he can get past IBF heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (16-0, 16 KOs) on June 25 this month at the O2 Arena in London, England. Breazeale wants to face WBC champion Deontay Wilder and IBO/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Tyson Fury in a unification fight if the two of them are still champions after their next fights.

Wilder defends his WBC title against Chris Arreola on July 16. Fury will be defending his titles against Wladimir Klitschko in a rematch on July 9 at the Manchester Arena in Manchester, UK.

Dominic Breazeale promises blood for Anthony Joshua fight

breazeale8

By Scott Gilfoid: Unbeaten #13 IBF heavyweight contender Dominic Breazeale (17-0, 15 KOs) has knocked out 15 of his 17 opponents during his short four-year pro career. Only two fighters, Nagy Aguilera and Fred Kassi, have been able to go the distance with Breazeale. On June 25, Breazeale promises there will be red blood in the ring when he faces IBF heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (16-0, 16 KOs), and I don’t think it’s his own blood that he has in mind.

Breazeale plans on giving Joshua a royal thrashing in the ring in front of his own 20,000 fans at the O2 Arena in London, England. There will also be a mess of fans watching the fight on Showtime Championship Boxing in the U.S and on Sky Box Office PPV in the UK.

breazeale87

Breazeale says he’s going to shock the world by knocking out Joshua and bringing his title back to the United States. If Joshua wants the belt back, he’ll need to come to American to fight him for it, says Breazeale.

Dibella: Deontay has advantage over Joshua

Image: Dibella: Deontay has advantage over Joshua

By Scott Gilfoid: Lou Dibella, the promoter for WBC heavyweight champion Deontay “Bronze Bomber” Wilder (36-0, 35 KOs), gives him the advantage over unbeaten – but totally untested – IBF heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (16-0, 16 KOs) in a fight between them. Dibella sees the 6’7” Wilder’s one-punch power as being one of the advantages he has over the 26-year-old Joshua.

Wilder’s right hand is a game changer, and he can land at any time. Dibella didn’t bother to point out that Deontay has much faster hand speed than the heavily muscled Joshua, and the much better mobility. Deontay hits faster and he’s not there to be hit in return due to his superior mobility.

Chris Eubank Jr. added to Joshua-Breazeale card on June 25

eubank4333By Scott Gilfoid: #2 WBA middleweight contender Chris Eubank Jr. (22-1, 17 KOs) has inked with Matchroom Sport in a new promotional contract. The addition of the 26-year-old Eubank Jr. to Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom stable is turning that promotional company into a giant.

I’ve never seen anything like it with one promotional company becoming so huge. It reminds me the type of huge companies we saw during the gilded age when John D. Rockefeller was around with his Standard Oil.

Joshua talks about his sparring war with Tyson Fury

joshua83By Scott Gilfoid: Normally it’s kind of frowned upon for fighters to discuss what took place during sparring sessions, which is why it seems very strange that IBF heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua has decided to start talking about a sparring session that took place between him and Tyson Fury many years ago when Joshua was just an amateur and Fury a young pro in 2009.

Fury was all of 20 back then, and Joshua still a teenager. Joshua says the two of them fought in a war during the sparring sessions. He doesn’t say who got the better of who, but he does admit that he couldn’t KO Fury, and that seems to have been something he was looking to do.

Breazeale: I have Joshua worried and flustered

joshua88776By Scott Gilfoid: Dominic Breazeale (17-0, 15 KOs) believes he won round one in his meeting with IBF heavyweight champion Antony Joshua (16-0, 16 KOs) today in London ahead of their fight next month on June 25. The two fighters had a couple of face offs, and during the first one, Joshua got upset at some of the things Breazeale said and with the way he was crowding him.

Breazeale noticed how flustered Joshua appeared, and he feels that the 6’6” fighter is scared because he now knows that he’s going to be in for a real dog fight on June 25 when the two of them face each other at the O2 Arena in London, England.

Anthony Joshua gets agitated during face off with Breazeale

joshua81112by Scott Gilfoid: American challenger Dominic Breazeale (17-0, 15 KOs) had IBF heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (16-0, 16 KOs) about to blow his top earlier Wednesday during their face off in London to promote their June 25 fight on Sky Box Office at the O2 Arena in London.

The two fighters were posing for photographs when the friction started. They turned around and had a face off, and during this time, Breazeale had some words with the 6’6” Joshua that got him hopping made. In analyzing the two fighters body language, I think Joshua looked scared. He seemed unnerved completely with the words and the icy cool coming from the big 6’7” Breazeale.
