Image: Brook looking to set a good example against Hatton; disgusted by Chisora-Haye brawlBy Sean McDaniel: #2 WBO ranked welterweight contender Kell Brook (26-0, 18 KO’s) was repulsed by last weekend’s brawl between Dereck Chisora and David Haye at the Vitali Klitschko – Chisora post fight press conference. Brook, 26, saw the the whole affair as being bad for boxing and he wants to make sure that he and his March 17th opponent Matthew Hatton (42-5-2, 16 KO’s) set a good example in their fight at the Motorpoint Arena, Sheffield, Yorkshire, United Kingdom.

Hobson: Brook could end up destroying Hatton

Image: Hobson: Brook could end up destroying HattonBy Scott Gilfoid: Promoter Dennis Hobson doesn’t see the March 17th fight between unbeaten welterweight contender Kell Brook (26-0, 18 KO’s) and former EBU welterweight champion Matthew Hatton (42-5-2, 16 KO’s) as being a particularly competitive match-up due to the wide talent gap between Brook and the arguably much less talented 30-year-old Hatton. Hobson sees this fight as a mismatch, and just a money fight but not a competitive match-up.

Brook-Hatton: The only problem Kell will have with Hatton is trying to figure out which round to stop him

Image: Brook-Hatton: The only problem Kell will have with Hatton is trying to figure out which round to stop himBy Scott Gilfoid: Another fight for unbeaten welterweight contender Kell Brook (26-0, 18 KO’s), another mismatch, this time against 30-year-old Matthew Hatton (42-5-2, 16 KO’s) on March 17th at the Motorpoint Arena, Sheffield, Yorkshire, UK. Hatton will plenty of opportunities to hit Brook. After all, the guys got those short alligator arms that makes it necessary for him to get really close to land his punches. Hatton can land something right in his puss but the guy can’t punch his way out of a wet paper bag unfortunately.

Brook: With Hatton out of the picture, it gives me a clearer run to the title

Image: Brook: With Hatton out of the picture, it gives me a clearer run to the titleBy Scott Gilfoid: It’s interesting to hear the reasons why fighters pick easy opposition rather than more dangerous choices that could actually help them by improving them as fighters. Unbeaten welterweight contender Kell Brook (26-0, 18 KO’s) is a perfect example of fighter coming up with excuses to justify a mismatch in his fight against Matthew Hatton (42-5-2, 16 KO’s) on March 17th at the Motorpoint Arena, Sheffield, Yorkshire, UK.

Kell Brook faces Matthew Hatton in domestic level scrap on March 17th

Image: Kell Brook faces Matthew Hatton in domestic level scrap on March 17th(Photo credit: Matchroom Sport) By Scott Gilfoid: Kell Brook (26-0, 18 KO’s) faces Matthew Hatton (42-5-2, 16 KO’s) in a domestic level fight on March 17th at the Motorpoint Arena, Sheffield, Yorkshire. This isn’t the big named quality opponent that was promised for Brook. That’s what blows me away. Brook was supposed to be facing a superb fighter, and look what we get: Hatton. I mean, Hatton is a decent gatekeeper type welterweight but he’s not anywhere close to being an excellent fighter. This is just another fodder opponent for Brook to look good against.
