(Photo credit: Idris Erba/Mayweather Promotions) By Dan Ambrose: Adrien Broner (30-1, 22 KOs) doesn’t think he has any chance of losing this Saturday night in his 144lb catch-weight fight against Shawn Porter (25-1-1, 16 KOs) at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. Broner doesn’t see himself as the next Floyd Mayweather Jr, but rather the first Adrien Broner.
It’s unclear where Broner is going with that. It’s definitely true that Broner isn’t going to be the next Mayweather, but he try his best to be the best possible fighter that he can be. We’ve got a glimpse of Broner’s limits as a fighter two years ago when he was beaten by Marcos Maidana by a 12 round decision.
