Abraham – Not Fitting For A King

Image: Abraham - Not Fitting For A KingBy Kirk Jackson: King Arthur Abraham, Armenian boxing champion based out of Germany has a reputation for being a well liked and a seemingly modest guy. Perhaps an isolated event shouldn’t grant someone access to judge another person’s character, but with the events stemming from Arthur’s recent fight against Dirrell, and a few other things lead me to believe he isn’t the King many make him out to be.

Why does Dirrell keep getting fouled in the Super Six tournament?

Image: Why does Dirrell keep getting fouled in the Super Six tournament?By Scott Gilfoid: Last Saturday’s fight was a horrible display of sportsmanship with Arthur Abraham not only blasting away at a fallen Andre Dirrell while he was on the canvas, but also afterwards the fight with Abraham suggesting that Dirrell had acted being hurt from the punch that he was hit with by Abraham. I somehow had suspected that Dirrell would end up getting fouled and roughed up for some reason.

How could Abraham not know Dirrell was down when he clobbered him with a golf swing punch?

Image: How could Abraham not know Dirrell was down when he clobbered him with a golf swing punch?By Chris Williams: I’ve seen the replay of Arthur Abraham’s illegal knockout blow in the 11th round against Andre Dirrell numerous times, and I don’t understand how Abraham couldn’t have known that Dirrell was down when he had time enough to wind up with a golf swing punch and send him into the stratosphere. This is something that your mind works through when you’re deciding what kind of punch to throw at a fighter. In seeing how Abraham was throwing overhand rights moments before landing the illegal blow and then suddenly opting for a golf swing punch after Dirrell hit the canvas, it makes me think that Abraham totally knew what he was doing when he let loose with that crunching punch.
