By Scott Gilfoid: Heavyweight contender Tyson Fury (21-0, 15 KO’s) no doubt must have read the news about David Haye (26-2, 24 KO’s) saying he hasn’t agreed to fight him because Fury is now telling Haye to sign the contract because he wants to give him a beating. Last Saturday night, Fury jumped the gun by saying that the fight between him and Haye was “99% done.” Haye laughed at this, saying he hadn’t agreed to anything.
Here’s what Haye’s response was to Fury on his twitter: “I read that Fury thinks a fight with me and himself is ‘99% Done’ HAHA At best i’d say there’s Light Discussions, that are moving slowly. For everyone asking if I’m fighting Fury. I currently have no agreement, or contract in place. But a fight later in the year would be fun.”
