By Jim Dower: Former WBA Super World middleweight champion Felix Sturm (37-3-2, 16 KO’s) goes at it against Sam Soliman (42-11, 17 KO’s) in an IBF middleweight title eliminator, and on the undercard former WIBF/WBA/WBO Female flyweight champion Susi Kentikian (29-2, 16 KO’s) will be facing WBA Female flyweight champion Carina Moreno (23-5, 6 KO’s) in a rematch to try and avenge her 10 round split decision loss to her on December 1st.
Sturm, 33, wants to quickly get another title shot against IBF champion Daniel Geale, who recently beat him last September in taking his WBA title.

By Jason Kim: Former WBA heavyweight champion Ruslan Chagaev (30-2-1, 19 KO’s) will have a real test on his hands against the 27-year-old unbeaten Cuban Mike Perez (18-0, 12 KO’s) in a scheduled 8 round bout on December 1st at the Burg-Waechter Castello, Düsseldorf, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany.
It’s perhaps a good thing for the 34-year-old Chagaev that the fight is only scheduled for eight rounds because he’s been looking a little heavy as of late and having to carry around the extra fat for another four rounds would be difficult against a busy fighter like Perez.

By Erik Schmidt: World Boxing Association/WIBF female flyweight champion Susi Kentikian (25-0, 16 KO’s) easily defended her titles on Saturday night beating yet another over-matched opponent in Argentinean opponent Carolina Marcela Gutierrez Gaite (15-2, 11 KO’s) by a lopsided 10-round unanimous decision at the Color Line Arena, in Hamburg, Germany. The final judges’ scores were 100-90, 199-90 and 100-90.

Dimitrenko to Fight Chambers on July 4th in World Boxing Organization title Eliminator
By Erik Schmidt: Unbeaten heavyweight contender Alexander Dimitrenko will have to earn a shot at the winner of WBO champion Wladimir Klitschko vs. David Haye by facing heavyweight contender Eddie Chambers in a WBO title eliminator bout on July 4th at the Color Line Arena, Altona, in Hamburg, Germany. Dimitrenko, 26, is currently ranked at #1 in the WBO. Dimitrenko recently defeated Luan Krasniqi in a 3rd round stoppage in November.
Kentikian Dominates Reid
By Erik Schmidt: Undefeated WBA and WIBF female flyweight champion Susi Kentikian (24-0, 16 KOs) defeated her American challenger Elena Reid (19-5-6, 5 KOs) by a lopsided 10-round unanimous decision at the Sporthalle, Austerdorf, in Hamburg, Germany, on Friday night. The final judges’ scores – 100-90, 100-90 and 100-91 – showed how truly one-sided the fight was. Kentikian, 21, made it look easy as she battered her hopelessly outclassed opponent for 10 rounds, giving her a terrible beating in a fight that was never close from the very beginning.
