Ward-Bika: Can Sakio rough up the ‘Son of God’ up enough to win

With 3 drop outs in Jermain Taylor, Mikkel Kessler and Andre Dirrell. Allan Green who was the first replacement failed to do anything getting a one-sided beating from Andre Ward (22-0, 13 KOs) before being knocked out by Kessler’s replacement Glen Johnson. Sakio Bika (28-4-2, 19 KO’s) was the final – and hopefully the final – replacement for Andre Dirrell and has the uphill task of beating Andre Ward.

Ward in stay busy fight against Bika on November 27th

Image: Ward in stay busy fight against Bika on November 27thBy Scott Gilfoid: Arguably the world’s greatest super middleweight Andre Ward (22-0, 13 KO’s) has a stay busy fight against 31-year-old Sakio Bika (28-4-2, 19 KO’s) in less than two weeks at the Oracle Arena, in Oakland, California. This is replacement opponent for the highly skilled Andre Dirrell who was supposed to be fighting Ward in the stage 3 part of the Super Six tournament. However, after Dirrell was injured in his last bout of the tournament, he was forced to pull out of the fight and the entire tournament so that he could heal up. Ward will now be fighting Bika in a non-Super Six tourney fight and will use the fight as a kind of mini tune-up for the big fights that Ward has ahead of him against the likes of Arthur Abraham, Carl Froch or Glen Johnson.

Ward vs. Bika: Does Sakio have any chance agaisnt Andre?

Image: Ward vs. Bika: Does Sakio have any chance agaisnt Andre?By Scott Gilfoid: The dream match between talents Andre Dirrell and Andre Ward (22-0, 13 KO’s) went up in smoke recently when Dirrell was forced to pull out of the Super Six tournament due to a neurological problem stemming from his win over Arthur Abraham on March 27th. Dirrell has since pulled out of the tournament and Ward will now have to settle for fighting 31-year-old Sakio Bika (28-4-2, 19 KO’s) in a non-Super Six tournament fight as a temporary fill in bout. While Dirrell had an excellent chance of beating Ward, Bika does not.

Andre Ward to show off his world class talent against Sakio Bika on November 27th

Image: Andre Ward to show off his world class talent against Sakio Bika on November 27thBy Scott Gilfoid: I can’t wait until WBA super middleweight champion Andre Ward (22-0, 13 KO’s) gets the chance to showoff his world class talent on Sakio Bika (28-4-2, 19 KO’s) on November 27th in their fight at the Oracle Arena, in Oakland, California. Ward, 26, has been a hidden gem for the past six years since turning pro in 2004, and he’s about to show the world how good he is against the 31-year-old Bika in their non-Super Six tournament fight. Right now, Ward is simply the best fighter in the super middleweight division.

Ward-Bika: Look for Andre to win every round in a one-sided win

Image: Ward-Bika: Look for Andre to win every round in a one-sided winBy Scott Gilfoid: Sakia Bika (28-4-2, 19 KO’s) is a fine fighter with good skills and excellent power and a tough style to deal with. However, Bika has the bad luck of facing WBA super middleweight champion Andre Ward (22-0, 13 KO’s) on November 27th at the Oracle Arena, in Oakland, California. This is a couple of steps too far for the 31-year-old Bika, because not only can’t he deal with Ward’s incredible talent, but he won’t be able to beat him on the inside with his rough house tactics. I can see Bika coming unglued very early on in this fight when he finds himself getting battered by Ward without stop and unable to beat him on the inside either with the rough house tactics.
