The Gatekeeper should hold the key to the title
By Darren Munsey: One of the biggest talking points in boxing is the question ‘’is this boxer world class’’? We discuss, we debate but at the end of the day we do not know for sure until the fighter participates in a world title fight. The problem with that is just because a boxer fights for a world title that is far from conclusive evidence that the prospect is truly world class. With the amount of different versions or world title and the massive influence promoters have in the sport getting a world title shot is easier than ever.

Barrett doesn’t think Haye could beat Wladimir Klitschko – News
By William Mackay: Journeyman Monte Barrett (34-9-1, 20 KO’s) thinks that IBF/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (54-3, 48 KO’s) is just too good for World Boxing Association heavyweight champion David Haye (24-1, 22 KO’s) to beat. Although Barrett thinks that Haye is good for the sport because of his exciting style of fighting and his ability to talk well outside of the boxing ring, but Barrett thinks Wladimir is just the superior fighter. This isn’t an earth shattering revelation because few people outside of Haye’s home country of England believe that he is as good as Wladimir or his older brother WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko.
Tua was really hurt by Barrett
By Jason Kim: David Tua (51-3-2, 43 KO’s) should consider himself very fortunate that he escaped with a 12 round majority draw with journeyman Monte Barrett (34-9-1, 20 KO’s) last Saturday night, because Tua looked really horrible throughout the 12 round bout at the Tropicana Hotel and Casino, in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
