By Marcus Sales: It was announced today that Kell Brook (26-0) will return to the ring on March 17 to headline a show in his hometown of Sheffield. Brook recently returned from America where he was impressive in stopping the heavily overmatched Luis Galarza (17-3.) I say impressive because Brook showed signs of class that night with a good variety of shots and a level of patience that is needed to finish off opponents at a higher level.

Kell Brook rumored to be fighting Matthew Hatton next
By Scott Gilfoid: In some disappointing news, unbeaten welterweight champion Kell Brook (26-0, 18 KO’s) is reportedly in negotiations with fringe welterweight contender Matthew Hatton (42-5-2, 16 KO’s) for a fight that will take place in early 2012. If the fight comes off this will be a continuation of the disturbing trend for the for the 25-year-old Brook to be matched against soft competition rather than serious threats that can teach him something that he’ll need to know when the day comes for Brook to finally fight someone with ability.

Kell Brook needs to show his speed and power tonight against Galarza
By Sean McDaniel: With all the publicity that Amir Khan and David Haye have both received in 2011, unbeaten welterweight contender Kell Brook (25-0, 17 KO’s) has largely been forgotten by boxing fans. However, Brook is now on the threshold of trying to win over a whole different set of boxing fans in the United States starting tonight against Luis Galarza (17-2, 13 KO’s) in a 10 round bout at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
Kell Brook: Khan looked like a scared novice against Peterson
By Jason Kim: Unbeaten Kell Brook hopes to look impressive tonight against the capable Luis Galarza on the undercard of the Carl Froch – Andre Ward fight in the United States. Above all, Brook doesn’t want to look awful like fellow Brit Amir Khan did in losing his IBF and WBA light welterweight titles to Lamont Peterson last Saturday night. Brook saw the fight and was thoroughly disgusted by what he saw from Khan.

By Sean McDaniel: Unbeaten welterweight contender Kell Brook (25-0, 17 KO’s) has been completely ignored by fellow countryman Amir Khan despite having done well in the past year in beating a couple of quality fighters. Brook is still hoping to get a Khan fight in 2012 and sees Saturday’s fight against Luis Galarza (17-2, 13 KO’s) as a stepping stone to a world title fight and a bout against Khan next year.
