By Eric Thomas: Jean Marc Mormeck (36-4, 22 KO’s) is giving himself a good chance of defeating heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (56-3, 49 KO’s) tonight and taking his IBF/WBA/WBO titles in their fight in front of 50,000 fans at the Esprit Arena in Dusseldorf, Germany. Mormeck would probably be the last one that you would pick out to defeat a fighter like Wladimir, but Mormeck has a chance because he’s good power and Wladimir is very susceptible to getting hurt when hit hard. Mormeck has a punchers’ chance of winning this fight if he can land his big shots.

By Allan Fox: Tonight IBF/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko will be defending his titles against an aging smaller Jean Marc Mormeck at the Esprit Arena in Dusseldorf, Germany. A lot of the fans are ignoring the fight compared Wladimir’s other bouts and it’s kind of unusual to see people so turned off towards a Wladimir fight. Hopefully it’ll be an interesting bout. Ola Afolabi will b e facing Valery Brudov for the interim WBO cruiserweight title on the undercard in fight that promises to be a lot more competitive bout compared to the Klitschko vs. Mormeck bout.
Wladimir working on throwing uppercuts for Mormeck fight
By Sean McDaniel: In watching IBF/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (56-3, 49 KO’s) during his media workout one couldn’t help noticing that he’s throwing a lot of short uppercuts along with jabs to get himself ready for his fight against Jean Marco Mormeck (36-4, 22 KO’s) on Saturday night in Dusseldorf, Germany. Wladimir, 6’6″, may need to throw uppercuts because the 5’11” Mormeck will likely crowd him all night long and Wladimir will need a short uppercut to catch Mormeck on the way in.

Mormeck tells Wladimir: I’m not Mike Tyson, but it’s a good public relations stunt

However, instead of it convincing fans that the 39-year-old Mormeck has a chance, it’s making fans see Wladimir as desperate to get people to want to see his mismatch.
Klitschko: Mormeck will be similar to Tyson on Saturday
By Dan Ambrose: IBF/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (56-3, 49 KO’s) will be facing one of his shortest opponents of his career on Saturday night when he takes on 5’11” Jean Marc Mormeck (36-4, 22 KO’s) on Saturday night in front of what will likely be a minimum of 50,000 fans at the ESPRIT arena, Düsseldorf, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany. The 6’7″ Wladimir will be towering over the shorter Mormeck and this is going to be a huge mismatch unless Mormeck can get close enough to put a dent in Wladimir’s vulnerable chin.

Wladimir says his height advantage won’t benefit him against Mormeck
By Eric Thomas: IBF/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (56-3, 49 KO’s) is staying on message that his height, reach and weight advantage over the smaller 5’11” 215 pound challenger Jean Marc Mormeck (36-4, 22 KO’s) won’t be an advantage for him this Saturday night in their fight in Germany.
