Rigondeaux, 28, knocked Andrade down in the 2nd and 3rd rounds.

By Dave Lahr: IBF/WBA super bantamweight champion Celestino Caballero (33-2, 23 KO’s) is eager to get a fight with World Boxing Organization super bantamweight champion Juan Manuel Lopez, who Caballero has unsuccessfully been chasing for the past year trying to get a fight with him. Caballero had this to say about Lopez: “Juanma Lopez can keep running from me, but I’m not going to stop chasing him.”

By Eric Thomas: Two-time Cuban Olympic Gold Medalist Guillermo Rigondeaux (2-0, 2 KO’s) made short work of American Robert Guillen (4-3) on Friday night, stopping him in the 1st round at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Rigondeaux, 28, a super bantamweight prospect, timed a punch from Guillen, hitting him with a perfect left hook to the body late in the 1st round to send Guillen down on the canvas. Guillen laid on the canvas in pain afterwards and was unable to get up from the knockdown. Referee Kenny Bayless then called a halt to the bout at 2:57 of the 1st.
Rigondeaux Defeats Noriega
By Jim Dower: Former two-time Cuban Olympic Gold Medalist Guillermo Rigondeaux (1-0, 1 KOs) stopped Juan Noriega (3-4) in the 3rd round. Rigondeaux, who twice won Olympic Gold Medals during his amateur career with Cuba, knocked Noriega once in the opening seconds of the 1st round and then went to pound Noriega unceasingly until the referee stepped in and halted the bout in the 3rd at 1:09 of the round.
