The fight was stopped in the 2nd round after Kauffman dropped Mendoza with a hard left-right to the midsection that put him down.

By Scott Gilfoid: Former world title challenger Eddie Chambers (40-4, 22 KOs) says he could be facing 38-year-old Alexander Ustinov (30-1, 21 KOs) on the undercard of the Tyson Fury vs. Christian Hammer card on February 28th at the O2 Arena in London, UK. If the 32-year-old Chambers winds up getting the fight against Ustinov, he’d be taking the guy that Fury skipped out on last year when he was supposed to fight an in shape Ustinov.

By Scott Gilfoid: Former world heavyweight title challenger Eddie Chambers (41-4, 22 KOs) says he’s confident that he’d beat the 6’6” British heavyweight Anthony Joshua (10-0, 10 KOs) if he agreed to fight him. Chambers, who has previously fought heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko, says he’d wrap one of his arms behind his back and still beat the British heavyweight.
While the 6’1” Chambers would be giving up a considerable amount of size and reach against the 6’6” Joshua, you can’t rule out a knockout win for Chambers because he’s got a little pop in his punches.

A fight between Chambers and unbeaten Lucas “Big Daddy Browne (20-0, 18 KO’s) was mentioned today to Chambers’ trainer Peter Fury, and Peter said “Eddie is up for any fight we can make.”

Eddie Chambers is now trained by Peter Fury he’s currently training in Manchester, England for his upcoming fight against Ian “Lay Em Out” Lewison (8-2-1). By Scott Gilfoid: WBO cruiserweight champion Marco Huck 36-2-1, 25 KO’s) was really gloating today about American Eddie Chambers’ 10 round unanimous decision loss last night against the talented South African #7 WBC cruiserweight contender Thabiso Mchunu (14-1, 10 KO’s) at the Mohegan Sun Casino, in Uncasville, Connecticut, USA.
Chambers (36-4, 18 KO’s) got pretty well schooled by a fighter that reminded me of a bigger version of Floyd Mayweather Jr. in Mchunu. Chambers came out on the losing end of the decision by the scores 97-93, 99-91 and 99-91.
